Seniors!  Mrs. Hall will be in the Forum during both lunches today to help you with Naviance and using it in the college application process.  Bring your laptops to finish requesting teacher recommendations, requesting transcripts, and matching your common application account.

It’s that time of year for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National Honor Society!  If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership.  Eligible students should have received a letter inviting them to apply and also explaining the application process.  If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven't received a letter at home, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the science office, or Ms. Leclaire in language arts. This letter also tells you about important informational meetings going on this week.  If you are applying for membership in NHS, you must attend one of these meetings to learn about the club and the application process.   There are still three more meetings for you to choose from this week: tomorrow morning at 6:55 in room C-12, and also today or tomorrow after school at 2:20 in room W-103 Remember that these meetings are only for eligible juniors and seniors, so if you are unsure whether you are eligible, please contact Mr. Smith, Ms. McGeorge, or Ms. Leclaire.

Athletics

Congratulations to both football teams as they swept Gateway on Friday night! Varsity won with a score of 28-24, the JV team won 45-6 and the Freshman team won 56-47. Great job Warriors!

After tough competition at the regional level, 4 varsity tennis players are now headed to state!  Way to go Warriors! They’d love to have fellow Warriors courtside at the Gates Tennis Center this Thursday, as they rally for their greatest victory yet.

Your Varsity softball team had a great comeback win against Cherry Creek on Friday! The Warriors were down 9 to 4 going into the sixth inning but put together two big rallies in the 6th and 7th innings to defeat Creek 11 to 9. Awesome job ladies!

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for some fine running on Saturday morning. The girls JV and Varsity both finished 2nd out of 24 teams and the boys JV and Varsity both had first place finishes. Run fast at league this Thursday!

Attention Warrior Volleyball fans! Remember that we have a big match tonight against Chatfield! We need our home crowd to fill the stands and cheer us on to victory! GO WARRIORS!!

Hey Warriors!  Winter sports registration is now open.  Pink Cards will be distributed in the cafeteria during lunches on WEDNESDAYS.  Please remember that you must have a current physical on file with the athletic office and be registered online before you can receive your pink card.
