General Announcements

Hey Warriors! Come to the homecoming parade tomorrow morning at 10:00 am to see all your warriors decked out for Halloween! Last but not least, grab your semi formal attire and come to the dance tomorrow from 8:00-11:00! Tickets will be sold for $10 at lunch today and $15 at the door tomorrow night. HAPPY HOMECOMING!!!

Reminder - all students planning to attend the homecoming dance need to bring their AHS student ID to get into the dance.  Also, if you have completed and returned a guest form, your guest will need to bring a photo ID with them as well.  Thank you!

Seniors!  Mrs. Hall will be in the Forum during both lunches on Monday to help you with Naviance and using it in the college application process.  Bring your laptops to finish requesting teacher recommendations, requesting transcripts, and matching your common application account.

Attention Students! There will be a second chance for picture re-takes on Tuesday, October 13^th from 10am-noon in the main entrance hallway.

It’s that time of year for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National Honor Society!  If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership.  Eligible students should have received a letter inviting them to apply and also explaining the application process.  If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven't received a letter at home, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the science office, or Ms. Leclaire in language arts.This letter also tells about important informational meetings going on next Monday and Tuesday.  If you are applying for membership in NHS, you must attend one of these meetings to learn about the club and the application process.  Remember that these meetings are only for eligible juniors and seniors, so if you are unsure whether you are eligible, please contact Mr. Smith, Ms. McGeorge, or Ms. Leclaire.

Athletics

Come support your Warrior Varsity Football team tonight at 7:00 pm vs Gateway at LPS Stadium

The JV Football game is Saturday at 12:00 pm at AHS and Freshman play Saturday 9:00 am at AHS.

Come join the football players and fans Friday Night for 5th quarter at Tom+Chee in Southglenn. Go Warriors!

Congratulations to the Arapahoe Volleyball Program! They swept Eaglecrest last night. Varsity won in 3 games! Warrior Volleyball is still undefeated in League play! Fans, come join us in the Sitting Eagle Gymnasium this Monday at 6:15 for our big match up against Chatfield! GO WARRIORS!

Yesterday, the Boys’ Varsity Soccer team defeated Smoky Hill High School by a score of 2-1. Jacob Draudt and Chris Grauberger scored for Arapahoe. The Junior Varsity was also victorious by a score of 8-1. Great job Warriors!
