General Announcements

Attention Students! There is a second chance for re-takes today from 10 a.m. to noon in the trophy hallway.

Students, this is a reminder that the PSAT will take place this Wednesday morning. Students signed up to take this test need to report to their assigned classrooms no later than 7:10 a.m.  Please check the room assignments that are now posted in the cafeteria. The test will end at approximately 10:45 a.m. and classes will begin after lunch at 11:20 a.m. Buses will run normally in the morning and again 4 hours later than normal to pick up students who are not taking the PSAT. Students who are testing should remember to bring two #2 pencils, a calculator, and picture I.D.

Hey Warriors! Muse is a student run literary magazine that accepts any art or writing you have created in and out of school. We are waiting for your work to be submitted so we can hopefully publish it in our magazine. Head to the Arapahoe website under the activities page to get details on how to submit your work.

Are you a man or a monkey? Decide for yourself when you see Inherit the Wind next week. Tickets are on sale today at lunch for the performances next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm. Ticket prices are $5.00 for students and $7.00 for adults. We hope to see you at the show!

It’s that time of year for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National Honor Society!  If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership.  Eligible students should have received a letter inviting them to apply and also explaining the application process.  If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven't received a letter at home, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the science office, or Ms. Leclaire in language arts. This letter also tells you about important informational meetings going on this week.  If you are applying for membership in NHS, and you have not attended one of these meetings yet, you MUST attend the meeting after school today at 2:20 in room W103.

Athletics

Arapahoe Volleyball had a great night last night against Chatfield, with Sophomore and JV wins. Varsity battled for a huge victory, toppling the number 2 team in state! We have 2 big matches next week...Tuesday at Creek, and Thursday at home vs Cherokee Trail. GO WARRIORS!

Your Varsity Boys’ Soccer team plays at home today in an important league match against Cherry Creek High School at 4:30. The Junior Varsity will play Cherry Creek at 4:30 today as well, on the JV field. Come root your Warriors to victory!

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
Warriors always take care of one another.
