General Announcements

All lost and found items will be removed from the cafeteria by next Wednesday. Please check the table for your belongings.

  If you are applying for membership in National Honor Society, remember that applications are due next tomorrow.  You should have already handed out 5 reference forms, and you should be working to make sure your application is turned in before the deadline, along with your $15 application fee, to Mrs. Kazakoff in the bookkeeping office.

Hey Warriors!!! One of the most exciting events of the year is almost here. The annual DECA Dodgeball tournament is this Wednesday from 6 to 9 pm in both gyms. This year's theme is "As Seen on TV" so come out and support your favorite TV shows and movies as they compete to become the 2016 Dodgeball Champions. Admission to this exciting event is only $3. See ya there Warriors!

Today, the Post Grad Center is hosting the Illinois Institute of Technology and the University of Arizona.  The U of A visit will be held in the Forum.  

Warriors-Please remember as you plan to wear your Halloween Costume to school on the 31st-that we are not allowing any clown costumes this year. We still will not allow any masks or face paint and all of the school dress code rules will apply. Please plan on participating in the Halloween activities during lunches on October 31st- they will be spooktacular


"Calling all poems, stories, and artwork! Students, submit your wonderful creations to the Muse Magazine by the end of this week to automatically enter yourself into a drawing for a $10 gift card." 

Attention seniors:  The Daniels Fund Scholarship application is now open.  Are you a senior who demonstrates strength of character, leadership potential, community service, academic promise, and a well-rounded personality?  The Daniels Scholarship is a “last dollar” scholarship that will pay toward the remaining costs of a scholar’s education after all other grants and scholarships are applied. The scholarship is only awarded to students from our four-state area There is a need-based component to qualify. Stop by the Guidance office and see Mrs. Kostra for more information.  



Athletics
 Girls Basketball- All girls interested in playing basketball this coming season should plan to attend the Pre-season Camp which begins  Monday October  24th at 5:30 in the Main Gym. See the Girls Basketball website for the entire schedule.

Congratulations to both the boys and girls cross country teams for qualifying for State. The boys team finished 3rd in the region and the girls team ran an impressive race to finish as the Regional runner-up. Good luck this Saturday at State down in Colorado Springs."
