Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday September 12th at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office will pay for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 ½,  you can get a drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us  Any questions ask Deputy Englert.

Don't forget!  Key Club will have our first meeting today at 2:30 in room E1287.  We can't wait to share some amazing opportunities with you!    

The Technology Student Association or "TSA" is for students who want to take their interest in Technology & Engineering one step further, have fun, meet new people, and perhaps get the chance to travel along the way. There will be an "Informational" meeting will be Tues, Sept 12th  after school from 2:25-3:00 in Room 1287. Hope to see you there.

Seniors - Looking for graduation announcements? A class ring? Perhaps a new beanie? Please stop by the Herff-Jones table Friday, September 15th in the cafeteria from 9:30am to 3:00pm  to see samples of various graduation products you can order.

Are you interested to join the Speech and Debate team? Maybe our table caught your eye at Club Cafe, maybe you like to argue for fun or have a flair for the dramatic. Prospective Members for speech and debate, join us tomorrow after school in C1452 for more info.

Hey, NHS! We have our first National Honor Society meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 13. We will meet in Mr. Smith's room, W1884 at 2:30. See you there!

Got a talent you want to share? Then audition for the Arapahoe homecoming Talent Show September 19th after school in the Forum.  Can’t make it? Send in a video of your talent to Mrs. Abner showing off your skills by September 18th.  Sign up today for an audition time slot on the AHS website.  

Have you taken 3 business classes?  Are you a Junior or Senior?  If so, stop by the Business Department to pick up an application for the National Business Honor Society.  Applications are due September 18th.

Are you interested in a club that will provide you social events, community service events and an opportunity to compete in Vail, Colorado?  If so, then FBLA is the club for you!  Our first meeting is this Wednesday after school in the forum.  

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The 2017 trip to Washington D.C. is here again!  This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand.  If you are interested in attending please see Mrs Winn in the Social Studies Department to get some initial information!

Congratulations to everyone who "Ran like a Warrior" on Friday. Arapahoe's Cross-Country team competed against 86 schools in the top division of Liberty Bell to score 3rd in the JV Boys' Race, 8th in the Varsity Boys' Race, and 8th in the Varsity Girls' race. A special congratulation goes out to all of the runners who earned PRs. Run On Warriors!

Congrats to the Varsity softball team for their 12 to 2 victory over Heritage on Friday. Once again the Lady Warriors put on a hitting display, lead by Freshman Katie Maney who had 2 homeruns and Sophomore Kayleigh Krueger with 6 RBI's. Your Warriors are back in action today at Highlands Ranch. Good Luck Ladies!

Varsity and JV played Smoky Hill on Saturday. Varsity won their first game 1-0!!! Goal scored by Molly Galloway. JV also won their first game 6-0!! Goals scored by Lindsey Reed, Kate Plisko, Lindsey Klaess scored twice and Skylar Sanford scored twice! Way to go Warriors!
