There will be an FBLA meeting this Wednesday in the Forum after school.  Be sure to bring your completed registration packets to receive lettering points.  

Its wellness week Warriors and we invite any of you that have off 6th hour today to attend a Mindfulness Workshop in the Forum. Our district wellness leader will be in the Forum today during 6th to present this meaningful workshop on Mindfulness.

Juniors and seniors!  On Thursday, the Post Grad Center will host Drake University, Whittier College, Gonzaga (pronounced Gun-zag' a) University, Pacific University, Reed College, Linfield College, the University of British Columbia, California Polytechnic University, Grand Canyon University, the California Institute of Technology, Pitzer College, Creighton (pronounced Crate'-in) University, St. Olaf College, the University of California - Santa Cruz, Vanderbilt University, Knox College, and Trinity University.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The 2017 trip to Washington D.C. is here again!  This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand.  If you are interested please see Ms Winn in the Social Studies Department to pre-register and receive other important information.  

Juniors (and interested sophomores) registration for PSAT is now open! Come to the Counseling Department and sign up with Mrs. Ives. Cost for PSAT is $20.  Registration is from now until Oct. 4th.   PSAT test will be happening Wednesday morning, Oct. 11th. We are encouraging every junior to take this test.  The PSAT is the only exam to qualify a student for National Merit Scholar Status, when taken during junior year.


Hey seniors: Go to the Journalism & Student Media website for a yearbook senior biography form.  Please turn the form in by the extended deadline of Friday, Sept. 29 to the yearbook room, E-1288, or the front desk in the main office.


Attention Seniors: Your Senior Class Panoramic Picture will be taken on Thursday, September 28 at 7:50 a.m. in the gym.  Remember - this is the ONLY time a picture will be taken of your whole Senior class, so DON'T MISS OUT! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE on Thursday, September 28 at 7:50 a.m.!

Come to the Arapahoe Homecoming Talent Show on October 2nd at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.  Tickets are $5 and will be sold during lunch on Thursday and Friday this week and at the door. Homecoming royalty will be announced and there will be many amazing acts!

Guest forms for Homecoming are available in the Activities/Attendance office.  All AHS students are allowed to bring a guest to homecoming, but are required to submit a signed & completed guest form with a legible picture of their guest by 3 pm on October 3.  Please see Mrs. Railey in the Activities office for further details.

Attention Warriors! We still have a few spots left in the DECA Dodgeball Tournament. If you want to participate in this fun event, turn your completed registration packet into the Business Office ASAP.

Attention Interested Sources of Strengths Peer Leaders:

If you attended an informational meetings last week about Sources of Strength and have not yet turned in your parent permission slip, please do so as soon as possible. If you did not attend the informational meetings last week and are still interested in being a peer leader, please stop by the counseling office to pick up a parent permission slip. Any other questions related to Sources of Strength, please see Ms. Zimmerman or Ms. Hancock in the counseling office.

Attention boys basketball: There will be a mandatory parent meeting next Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:30 in the Arapahoe Forum. This is a meeting for all players interested in trying out for basketball this Winter. Please have a parent at this meeting.

For all boys' lacrosse players interested in playing in the spring we have a mandatory meeting Wednesday, September 27th, at 7:00pm in the forum.

The Arapahoe Boys’ Varsity Soccer team hosts Mullen High School in a 4:30 match today. The Arapahoe Junior Varsity plays the Mullen JV squad at home at 4:30 as well. Good Luck Warriors!
