All anime fans new or old,come join the anime club. Come watch all of your favorite anime, movies and so much more. Meet new people and make new friends who have the same interests as you. The club meets Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30  in room E1283. The first meeting is Monday the 25th, for more information see Ms Mishoe in the art room, E1283 we hope to see you there.   

Are you interested in spreading hope, help and strength throughout Arapahoe? The new program, Sources of Strength, is looking for students who would be interested in being a Peer Leader. We want representation from the entire student body, including all styles, interests, strengths, and personalities from all different types of social groups. To learn more about Sources of Strength and what being a peer leader means, bring your lunch and come to the forum today or Friday during your lunch or see Ms. Zimmerman in the counseling office!

Everybody’s doing it!  Join the club and make changes happen for your wellness. The week long wellness challenge starts today! 8 glasses of water, 8 hours of sleep, no fast food, limit technology and write down 3 good things….everyone’s doing it and everyone’s gonna Feel It!  Good luck!

Juniors and seniors!  On Friday, the Post Grad Center is hosting Saint Louis University, the University of Kansas, Arizona State University, the College of Charleston, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Duquesne (pronounced - Do-cane) University will be meeting with students.  Log in to Naviance for details and to sign up.

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The 2017 trip to Washington D.C. is here again!  This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill first hand.  If you are interested please see Ms Winn in the Social Studies Department to pre-register and receive other important information.  

Juniors (and interested sophomores) registration for PSAT is now open! Come to the Counseling Department and sign up with Mrs. Ives. Cost for PSAT is $20. Registration is from now until Oct. 4th.   PSAT test will be happening Wednesday morning, Oct. 11th.  We are encouraging every junior to take this test.  The PSAT is the only exam to qualify a student for National Merit Scholar Status, when taken during junior year.
Hey seniors: Check your LPS email account for a yearbook senior biography form sent on Sept. 19. Or go to the Journalism & Student Media website.
Please turn the form in by the extended deadline of Friday, Sept. 29 to the yearbook room, E-1288, or the front desk in the main office.
Also, don’t forget to turn in your yearbook photo by Friday, Sept. 22. You can find info on the Journalism & Student Media website. If you have any questions, ask Mr. Anderson, the yearbook adviser.

Hey Warriors, You're Invited...To participate in the annual DECA Dodgeball Tournament. This year's tournament is on Wednesday, Oct. 25th. Registration for the event starts this Friday. Teams must consist of 5 boys and 5 girls. Registration packets will be available for pick-up AFTER school on Friday, in the Business Office. Since we need parent signatures, completed registration packets will not be accepted until Monday morning. But remember it's first come, first serve and only the first 20 teams to register will be allowed to play in the tournament. Please see Ms. Krueger if you have any questions.

Attention Boys Basketball - Open gym today is cancelled.

Attention all returning Lady Water Warrior Divers-there will be a quick meeting at the pool today at 2:28 .  It will last 4 minutes!  Be There!  Coach Smith

BOYS TENNIS!  Varsity had a 4-3 win against a tough Mullen team.   JV Gold totally defeated Mullen 13-0.  JV Black had a tough loss to Rock Canyon with several tight tie-breakers.   Come support your Warrior Boys Tennis at their last home match next Tuesday against rival Cherry Creek.
