If you are applying for membership in National Honor Society, remember that applications are due next Tuesday.  You should have already handed out 5 reference forms, and you should be working to make sure your application is turned in before the deadline, along with your $15 application fee, to Mrs. Arnold in the bookkeeping office.

Juniors and Seniors, this morning, the University of Denver visit will be held in the Post Grad Center and this afternoon, the  Miami University visit will be held in room C-1435.  Seniors!  If you are not ready to submit your college applications, then come to College Application Boot Camp tomorrow, PLC Wednesday at 7AM in the Forum.  Students will walk through each section of the Common App, provide dedicated work time, and get their questions answered.  It will be an incredibly productive morning.  Hope to see  you there!  To be added to the written announcements: Click here to register for College Application Boot Camp.  

Attention Juniors and Seniors - If you are planning on going on the 2018 Washington DC trip in March please see Ms Winn in the social studies department by the 30th of October to get registered before the first major deadline.

​Juniors and Seniors - interested in playing sports in college?  A mandatory informational meeting regarding NCAA/NAIA qualifications and registration will be held today during both lunches in the Forum.  You may bring your lunch with you.  Students please come into the Counseling Office or Athletic Office to sign up for the meeting.

The MUSE is back in session and we need you. Submit your art, music and writing to the MUSE by November 17th and you'll be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a gift card. Have an idea for the cover of the MUSE, submit your cover art designs as well. For more information, see Mr. Spare in the Language Art Department.

Hey Warriors! If you are playing on a DECA Dodgeball team, you must attend a rules meeting. The first meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 23rd at 2:30 pm in the Forum and the second meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24th at 5:30 pm in the Forum. The rules meeting is mandatory for all players. Attendance will be taken at the meeting. Please see Ms. Krueger with questions.

Do you like watching pirates sword-fight or getting thrown over board?  If so, the play Treasure Island is the thing for you!  Student tickets are $5. Come to the Arapahoe Theatre on October 26th at 6 pm, or the 27th or 28th at 7 pm.  Tickets are available to purchase through Mr. Ahern’s teacher page.

If you are interested in being a part of Sources of Strength, there's still time! Peer Leader Training will be held this Thursday, October 19th. If you have not turned your permission slip in yet, please do so in the counseling office! Questions? See Ms. Zimmerman in counseling.

Free Alive @ 25 class Monday October 23rd at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us Any questions ask Deputy Englert.

Congratulations to the “Cars & History” class for organizing Arapahoe’s inaugural charity car show this past Saturday.  Over 60 cars attended the show and the student organizers raised over $950 for the Wounded Warrior Project!  Way to go class!

Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey won against Fossill Ridge with a score of 6-2 with goals by Kelly Burke, Meg Hanson, Molly O’Donnell, Lizzie Pierport and Aubrey Donhowe.  JV tied Liberty 0-0!

Your Varsity Boys’ soccer team travels this afternoon to play at Overland High School at 4:30. The JV team plays at 4:30 at Overland as well. It’s the last regular season game before playoffs begin next week for Varsity. Let’s go Warriors!
