General Announcements

*Former Students of Powell Middle School, please refrain from "visiting" Powell Middle School during their school hours (8:45 am-3:50 pm).  You are only allowed to be on their campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning to "visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after school hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior permission, you will be asked to leave.  If you continue to come on campus after being asked to leave, you may be ticketed for trespassing on school grounds.

Athletics

*Congratulations to the boys and girls track & field teams for their outstanding finish to their season at the state track and field championships. The boys team placed 8th overall with 28 points and the girls team placed 28th with 8 points.

*Warriors!  Your ABK Varsity Girl's soccer team battled tough on Saturday and defeated Rocky Mountain with a score of 3-2 in a very exciting State Semifinal Game.  Thank you to all the ABK fans that came out, stayed through two lightning delays and cheered them on to victory!!! Next up – the 5A Championship game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, this Wednesday night against league rival Grandview – for the State Title!  Game time will be 7:00 PM with ticket prices set at $10 for adults and $8 for students K-12 and Senior Citizens. Best of Luck to this amazing team! Go ABK!
