*FBLA Warriors - join us for our Crumbl Kick Off to start off our year. Meet us in the Forum after school TODAY for fun, information, and yes cookies! Can't make it? Come to the Business office, S1404, and get the information to join FBLA!
*Unify with Unified! We would love your support at our home Unified Kickball game against Heritage on Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 4:30pm. Come out to the baseball field to cheer for your Warriors.
*Juniors and Seniors not currently in NHS - IF you are eligible to apply to National Honor Society, you have received an email inviting you to apply and a list of meeting opportunities. Today is the last meeting after school in room E1287. If you have questions about eligibility, please refer to the activities website for the NHS "How to Apply" section. If you still have questions, see Ms. Bownds (E1285) or Mrs. Gutierrez (World Lang office). All applications must be complete by Thursday, Sept 29th. Your recommendations and fee must be received by Friday, Sept 30th. Seniors who are already members DO NOT need to REAPPLY. For these senior members, our first full council meeting will be Monday, September 26th from 3:40-4:00pm in the tiered classroom E1287. Come and meet your Senior Officers!

*Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale today in the cafeteria during both lunches. Tickets are $20 or $25 at the door. This is the last day for t-shirt sales. Each shirt is $8. Seniors and Sophomores wear black; Juniors and Freshmen wear gold. Cash or a check will be accepted for both tickets and shirts.
*Warriors, did you know the Daily Announcements are on the AHS website? Go to the little black box with the small megaphone marked Daily Announcements to catch any announcements you might have missed.
*Juniors: This year’s PSAT/NMSQT test will be offered on Wednesday, October 12th. This test is optional but it is used to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program. The fee is $20. To register, follow this link to the September Drumbeat or this form in our announcement. Sophomores may take the test if they like, but please know it is optional. Sophomores have their own link. The registration deadline is Monday, October 3rd.
*Attention 9-11 graders - Are you interested in taking classes at the EPIC Campus? This facility will be open and ready for you in 10 months! If you would like more information, please attend the EPIC Campus Information Night for AHS students and parents on Wednesday, September 28 at 6PM in the AHS Cafeteria. Please click here to sign up.
*Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Monday September 26th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. There is still plenty of room to sign up. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Register on-line at www.aliveat25.us and use the password ARAPAHOE. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*The volleyball team takes on Eaglecrest tonight in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. JV starts at 5:00, Varsity is at 6:30. We would love to see you there!
*The Arapahoe Cross Country team is hosting a fundraiser at Bare Blends all day TODAY. This is a great way to get a healthy bowl, smoothie, juice, salad, or waffle AND help out the XC program. Check the flier below if you'd like to order online.
