*Who are the classmates that best embody positivity, kindness, and integrity? Picture the kids that walk away from the drama and reach out to uplift those around them. These are the people we want to celebrate during Homecoming Week as our Warrior Homecoming Royalty! Please complete the nomination form in your school email and let's shine the spotlight on some of our best Warriors!
*Are you interested in science, technology, engineering, math, and more? Then TSA is the club for you! TSA is a national club that offers fun, competitive, creative problem-solving events in a wide variety of STEM-related fields! Drop by our kickoff meeting on Monday, September 12th after school in the tech lab, E1286, to learn more!
*There are several spots still remaining for the annual powder puff football tournament. Get your team of 10 girls together and submit your registrations into the Activities office by Sept. 13th. Games are on September 17th and the 21st with fireworks after the championship game.
*Littleton Public School DRIVERS EDUCATION - Earn high school graduation credit this Fall by taking driver education. Go to the LPS Drivers Education website to check out dates and times. Classes are filling up fast.
*Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Monday September 26th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a rate discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Register on-line at www.aliveat25.us and use the password ARAPAHOE. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*Come support your ABK soccer teams today as they play home against Rocky Mountain. Fresh/Soph plays and JV play at Arapahoe soccer field starting at 4:30. Coming off an overtime win on Tuesday against Fossil Ridge, Varsity will take on Rocky Mountain at 6pm, on our AHS turf field.
*Calling all wrestlers! Are you ready to go "Back To The Future"? That's right, it's time to start working on our homecoming float. If interested, please attend a short meeting at 3:37 pm this afternoon in Room N1475.
*Our Field Hockey Warriors fought hard against Regis yesterday. C-Team and JV lost 0-2 but Varsity tied 1-1 in a thrilling overtime game against last year's state champs.
*Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse Players - Don’t forget to register for the Fall League on the Stack Team App. Today is the deadline. Go to AHS Boys Lacrosse website for instructions.
*Warrior Aquatics is providing weight training on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:05-8:00pm in the AHS weight room. This is open to all new and returning members of the Arapahoe High School girls & boys swim and dive teams. The cost is $5 per session.
*Anyone interested in playing Boys Lacrosse this spring, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 14th in the Forum at 7pm for players and their parents. Please enter the building through the Forum doors. We will be sharing some important information about the upcoming season so please join us.
