*Are you searching for that perfect part-time job that won't conflict with your school work or activities? Check out the AHS Student Job Board, just outside the Business office in the south hallway. We've recently posted many new opportunities and the board is updated often.
*Warriors, today is the last day to get a team together for Powder Puff football. See Mrs. Peterson in the Activities office or Mr. Wallace in Science for more information.
*Warriors, come cheer on our Unified Kickball team today at the AHS baseball field at 4:30pm.
*Hey Warriors. Help us kick off our homecoming week right by attending the 2022 Homecoming Talent Show! Support your fellow warriors and cheer them on as they take the stage on Monday, September 19th at 7pm in the theater. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door!
*If you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 24th, please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Tuesday, September 20th at 3:00pm.
*Juniors: This year’s PSAT/NMSQT test will be offered on Wednesday, October 12th. This test is optional but it is used to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program. The fee is $20. To register, follow this link to the September Drumbeat or this form in our announcement. Sophomores may take the test if they like, but please know it is optional. Sophomores have their own link. The registration deadline is Monday, October 3rd.
*Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Monday September 26th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a rate discount. This is a
4 1/2 hour class. Register on-line at www.aliveat25.us and use the password ARAPAHOE. Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
*Littleton Public School DRIVERS EDUCATION - Earn high school graduation credit this Fall by taking driver education. Go to the LPS Drivers Education website to check out dates and times. Classes are filling up fast.
Athletics
*On Tuesday, the Varsity Boys Tennis team won all 7 lines - a clean sweep against Cherokee Trail. Come by Heritage High School after school today and cheer them on as they battle the Eagles. Good luck Warriors!
The JV Black Boys Tennis team is tearing up the competition this week! They had a solid win over rival Cherry Creek 9-4 on Monday and destroyed Cherokee Trail 13-4 last night! Good luck against Heritage and Eaglecrest today and tomorrow.
*Our Field Hockey Warriors play Grandview today at Legacy Stadium. Varsity is at 4:30 p.m. and JV is at 5:45 p.m. Come out and cheer them on.
*Anyone interested in playing Boys Lacrosse this spring, there is a meeting TONIGHT in the Forum at 7pm for players and their parents. Please enter the building through the Forum doors. We will be sharing some important information about the upcoming season so please join us.
*Come out this Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm to the AHS East Parking Lot to get your car washed and support AHS Field Hockey at the same time!
