General Announcements
*Calling all Homecoming Powderpuff teams. Get your team of 10-12 girls together and register ASAP! All registration must be filled out by Wednesday, August 30th using the QR codes posted in the hallway or the link in your emails. A staff sponsor must be registered with your team, but coaches can be parents, students, or teachers. The Prelim tournament will be September 2nd and the Championship games will be September 6th. See you on the field!
*ATTENTION talented Warriors! Do you want to showcase your talent at this year's 2023 Homecoming Talent Show? You're in luck! Auditions will be Wednesday, August 30th after school. Please see Ms. Hamilton or Mrs. Davidson to sign up in advance!
*Seniors who are applying to college: Application Boot Camp starts next Wednesday, September 6th at 8:30am in the Forum! Complete your applications with help from Arapahoe's counselors and be ready to submit in time for Colorado's Free Application Days October 17th-19th!
*Hey Warriors - First Responder Club is back! Come one, come all to the first meeting of the school year, TOMORROW at 8:30am in E1287. If you have an interest in any first responder profession or just want to hang out with the coolest SROs, come to the meeting. Donuts will be provided! Hope to see you there!
*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 9th, please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Thursday, September 7th at 3:00pm.
*SUPPORT Arapahoe Theatre and get something great to eat at the same time. Stop by Zell’s Creperie on Friday, September 8th between 7:00am and 7:00pm and grab a panini or crepe. Mention Arapahoe Theatre and some of the proceeds will go to the program.
Athletics
*Calling all Warrior Wrestlers - there is a preseason meeting TODAY in room N1475 at 3:47pm. We’ll talk about preseason workouts, Homecoming activities and more. See you there!
*Our Field Hockey Warriors defeated Smoky Hill last night! Varsity won 3-0 and JV won 1-0!
*The Varsity Boys Tennis team travels to Chapparal to battle the Wolverines TODAY at 3:30pm. Good Luck Warriors!
*Warrior Arapahoe Girls Volleyball takes on Ponderosa TONIGHT at home. Varsity starts at 6:30pm in the main gym with JV just before at 5:00. Lower levels play at 4:30pm and 5:30pm in the Aux gym. Also, it's Heritage week for volleyball. We need the entire TRIBE to show up at Heritage on Thursday night, August 31s!. See you there!
*The ABK Boys Soccer teams are hosting Legacy today. Varsity starts at 6:00pm at LPS Littleton Stadium. Tickets can be purchased online at GoFan.com. JV will be at 4:30pm at the AHS soccer field. Go ABK!
*Hey Warriors! Tickets go on sale TODAY during lunch for the Arapahoe vs Heritage football game this Friday night at LPS Stadium at 7:00pm. There is a limited number of tickets available and this game will sell out so buy your tickets today. Cash or check will be the method of payment.
Please note: Arapahoe students with an athletic pass will need to bring their student ID or a photo of their ID on their phone to present at the admissions gate. No Infinite Campus search will be accepted for free admission. If you need to get a new ID to show you have an athletic pass, please visit the bookkeeper’s office before Thursday to have a new ID printed.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults (18-65), $5 for students (K-12) and $5 for Senior Citizens (over 65). Go Warriors!
