General Announcements
*Hey, National Honor Society members! Our next chapter meeting is TOMORROW, November 14 during both lunches and after school. We will be meeting in the Forum.
*Warriors, thank you all for your participation in this year's Food Drive! We collected thousands of food items and were blown away by your generosity to give to the Field Elementary Food Bank. Now what you have all been waiting for - it is time to announce the Tribe that collected the most items! The winning Tribe is Mr. Hawthorne's Tribe! Congratulations to C1434 and all of their hard work. You will receive a bagel party on the day of your choice! Thank you again to everyone who donated.
*Congratulations to Evyn Garrington and Briana Serna for taking 3rd & 4th at the district-wide 13th Annual Poetry Slam.
*The Annual Fall Art Show will be on display in the East wing of the building and cafeteria display case beginning Wednesday, November 15th. The show will run through December 14th.
*Come support AHS’ Instrumental Music program by stopping by the Greenwood Village Panera on south Holly, TODAY from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and grabbing a bite to eat. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the program when you either: bring the flier or show a digital copy when ordering in person OR enter the promo code FUND4U at checkout on Panerabread.com or the Panera App.
Athletics
*Warriors - join us on Thursday, November 16th from 6:00pm-9:30pm for our FIRST Annual Boys Basketball Crosstown Throwdown. We are joining up with Heritage for a night of fun skill competitions, a staff game, a unified game and a dunk contest with celebrity judges! Bring your family and have some fun while supporting the Arapahoe Boys Basketball team! Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
*Come out and join the Girls Basketball program for their ‘Slam the Stigma’ Foundation Basketball games in honor of Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness on Saturday, November 18th starting at 5:00pm (doors will open at 4:00pm). Games including Arapahoe, Valor, Thunder Ridge and Rangeview will be played along with a Silent Auction and speakers from the Brought to Reality Foundation. Entry is just a donation to BTR.
