General Announcements
*Attention Juniors and Seniors: there will be NCAA Eligibility information meeting TODAY during both lunches in the Forum for students interested in competing in athletics at the college level. Feel free to bring your lunch.
*Congratulations to the Warrior Climbing team for their 2nd Place Girls Team and 6th Place Boys Team finishes on Saturday at Ubergrippen. Good luck this Saturday competing at Movement Centennial.
*Warriors, come join us as the Art department is hosting and Open House-style Reception for the Fall Art Show on Thursday, December 12th, from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Please come for some light refreshments (provided by Mrs. Martinez and our fabulous culinary classes) and a chance to see all the incredible work our students have been working on so far this year!
*Join us on TONIGHT, December 10th for an evening of fun and music. Our Arapahoe Warrior Vocal musicians will perform their Winter Concert from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the AHS theater. You’re invited to join us BEFORE the concert for some pre-concert Holiday festivities with Santa and elves, reindeer meeting, hot cocoa and candy canes, dreidels and latkes and caroling in Clarity Commons starting at 5:30pm.
*Students- we need your feedback - please check your LPS google email for the LPS graduation requirements survey. LPS is reviewing current graduation requirements and we need to hear from students. Take a few moments to complete this short survey by Dec 20th. Any potential recommendations changes would be for the Class of 2029. Thank you for your time and input.
*Attention National Honor Society Members: a hard copy of your log sheets must be turned in to a sponsor by Monday, December 16th, at 3:30 p.m. Remember to take a photo of your log sheets before you turn them in.
*Warriors - we are still collecting toys for our Arapahoe Annual Toy Drive! We have partnered with College View Elementary to give all their students the holidays of their dreams. We will be accepting toys for these kids through December 16th. We ask that toys are not weapons and do not require batteries. Also, please make sure the toys are new so these kids feel just as special and loved as all of us when we open presents on Christmas or Hannakuh. We will also be accepting monetary donations through our online giving page at this link: Toy Drive Donation. Let's all come together to make these kids' December as magical as ours. Thanks Warriors!
Athletics
*Come out and cheer on all the Boys Basketball teams TONIGHT for their home opener against Mountain Range. Varsity team tips off at 7:00pm in the main gym after JV & Freshman play at 5:30pm. The Sophomore team starts @ 4:00pm. Go Warriors!
*Come out and support those who support you! The Varsity Cheerleading team will be going to State this Thursday the 12th. Head down to the Denver Coliseum to watch the cheer team compete at 3pm! Roll Tribe!
