General Announcement

General Announcements

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who so generously participated in the toy drive.  AHS Toys for Tots was very successful again this year!  The AHS community donated more than 1800 toys this year.  We delivered over 600 wrapped toys to Fletcher Elementary on Friday, December 16.   There were smiles all around from the children and everyone who helped deliver the toys.  The Denver Indian Health and Human Services Center also received about 350 toys.  And, because of your generosity, 11 families in   LPS schools, and 5 shelters received much needed help for the holidays.   None of this would be possible without your support. Way to go Warriors!!

Juniors who plan on participating in Division I or II NCAA Collegiate Sports must see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Center regarding the ACT State Assessment voucher before January 11, 2006.

Congratulations to Junior Bass Clarinetist, Steve Berres, who has been selected to perform in this year's University of Colorado Honor Band.  Over 400 students from 66 high schools throughout Colorado auditioned for the band.
