Tickets are now on sale for the Arapahoe High School theater department’s production of Barefoot in the Park, a 1960’s comedy about two newlyweds.  Show dates are February 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7:00pm.  Tickets are only $5 and will be on sale at both lunches.  Come support your classmates at this hilarious show!

Attention all interested TSA club members.  It is time to re-group, re-organize and re-commit to TSA.  If you are interested in participating in the state TSA conference in April, please plan on attending the 1st meeting of the 2nd semester.  It will be today, in Room E-10.  Hope to see everyone there!!

Artists: The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design has workshops scheduled in February and March for high school students wanting to expand their creative talents and develop a strong portfolio.  Stop by the Art Dept or the Post Grad Center for information.  And this extra from the Rocky Mt. College of Art and Design:  Their Portfolio Review Day is Saturday, February 18.

Sophomore girls: Want college money?  There is a scholarship begging for you to apply! Apply by March 1 for the Dottie Lamm Award.  Information and application are in the Post Grad Center.   

Rotary Club of Littleton Sunrise is hosting Career Day 2006 for LPS High School Students and Denver area at-risk high school students on February 24th from noon to 5 p.m. at Arapahoe Community College. Scholarship applications, tours of Arapahoe Community College, and a presentation about college opportunities are on the agenda.  For more information contact Mark Ryan of Snelling Personnel at 303.794.4331.

Arapahoe's second jazz band is looking for a piano player.  No jazz experience is necessary.  If interested, please stop by the band office and let Dr. C. know as soon as possible.

Representatives from 2 colleges will be visiting today in the Guidance Center.
Western State College in Gunnison will be here at 11:30 and the University of Wyoming will be here at 12:30.

Attention mathematicians! The American Mathematics Competition is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31, during 2nd and 3rd hours in the Forum. See you there!

Athletics

The Warrior Wrestling Team would like to thank all of the students and faculty that supported them on Friday night against Heritage.  The Warriors won the match 34-30, when senior Kelan Hughes pinned his opponent. Winning for the warriors were Matt Croshal, Jake Wilson, Devon Minshall, Zach Bloemen, Bobby Strain, and Phil Bourgeois.
 
Attention all boys and girls tracksters who are not out for a winter sport.  There will a short informative meeting at 2:20 in S-14 today.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Nelson or Mr. Lienemann as soon as possible.  Thank you.
