Attention, Seniors admitted to CSU!  Check out the CSU Honors Program.  We have information in the Post Grad Center.  Application deadline is March 1!

If you requested a NCAA ACT test voucher, you can pick your voucher from Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Dept. by today.

Tickets are now on sale for a very special professional concert in our theatre on Friday, February 17th!  Tickets are just $5.00 and the 6pm concert will feature the Denver Brass, the Arapahoe and Concert Brass, the Arapahoe Wind Ensemble, the Newton Band, and the Powell Band.  Tickets are available from the Band Office or from any Wind Ensemble Musician.

Arapahoe's second jazz band is still desperately looking for a piano player.  No jazz experience is necessary.  If interested, please stop by the Band Office and let Dr. C. know.

Attention all Link Crew Leaders.  Your meeting on Thursday is at 6:45 in the MORNING, NOT 2:15 in the afternoon.  Please be sure that you are at the meeting in the forum on Thursday MORNING.

Attention all freshmen and Link Crew Leaders.  Link Crew is sponsoring the Girls Varsity Basketball game this Thursday evening at 7:00.  Come and support our athletes and you will receive a FREE fountain soda or candy bar.  Be sure to wear black and gold to show your support.
 
Hey Arapahoe!  Next Tuesday is Valentines Day, so this week, next Monday and next Tuesday you can buy chocolate hearts and roses!  You can buy them for yourself or buy and have them delivered to that special someone on Valentines Day.  They’re only a dollar so buy them at lunch today!

Attention mathematicians. The permission forms for the American Mathematics Competition B Version are due on February 9th. The competition is scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, in the Forum. Please see Mrs.Lobser in the Enrichment Room for details.

Athletics

There will be a mandatory meeting on Friday February 10 at 2:30 in room W103, for all girls who want to try out for the girl's varsity tennis team.  To try out for the varsity team, you must have played on varsity last year, or were one of the top JV players last year, or have other tournament experience.  If you are not sure if you qualify, please see Coach Brayton before Friday.  If you are currently playing a winter sport, you must see Coach Brayton to let him know of your intentions.

Congratulations to the Sophomore Boys Basketball team for its 52-46 victory over Mountain Vista last night.  The Warriors currently have a record of 14 wins and only one loss with 3 games left to play.  Nice job, team!!!

Warrior Bowlers! Do you know Lee Taylor bowled “2 turkeys” in a row last week? That was fantastic! Come join us for an hour of fun at the Littleton Lanes and make your own record!! See you there at 2:45 pm this afternoon. Drop-ins are welcome.

Attention those who have ever been injured or know someone who has:  Beginning Tuesday, February 14, Amnesty International will be collecting used crutches to send to victims of polio in Uganda.  There will be collection boxes at lunch from Tuesday until Friday next week as well as a collection box in the attendance office.  Any crutches, no matter the condition will be accepted.
