General Announcements
Tickets are now on sale for a very special professional concert in our theatre on Friday, February 17th! Tickets are just $5.00 and the 6pm concert will feature the Denver Brass, the Arapahoe and Concert Brass, the Arapahoe Wind Ensemble, the Newton Band, and the Powell Band. Tickets are available from the Band Office or from any Wind Ensemble Musician.
On Tuesday, February 21st Bonfils will be here at AHS for our second Blood Drive of the year. Students may sign up for appointments this week during lunch hours. Donors must be at least 17 years of age. Any donor who is 17 years of age must have parental consent signed at the time of the drive. Please be sure that all 17 year old donors that sign up are provided with a permission slip. We have 63 appointments available so hurry and get signed up.
JUNIORS: For those of you, who missed your Post Grad Center appointment, please stop by the Post Grad Center to re-schedule your appointment by Tuesday, February 21. This is your last chance to win a CAR – just kidding, a gift certificate to Starbucks!
The Muse Staff needs EVERYONE to join us in C-17 after school today for an extremely important planning meeting for next week's showcase night. This is the most important meeting of the year! The Muse is ready to go to press, and we need all our staff to help us make the Showcase night a success. Even if you can't stay long, come by and let us know what you can do to help. Congratulations to all DECA State Qualifiers…all competitors provided a strong representation for Arapahoe High School at state competition. Emily Kimpton placed 3rd, Meghan Lueders 3rd, Kyle Keefe 1st, Jeff Lester placed 1st, and Alex Craven placed 2nd to qualify for the International DECA competition in April. A job well done!

It’s almost here….! ARAPAHOE VS HERITAGE VARSITY BASKETBALL
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2006, AT METRO STATE COLLEGE
The Lady Warriors will play at 6:00pm, followed by the Boys at 7:30 pm. Today tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during both lunches. Tickets can also be bought in the Athletic Office during the remainder of the school day. Adult tickets are $7 and Students tickets are $5. NO STUDENT I.D. CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE GAME. TICKETS ARE LIMITED SO GET YOURS TODAY!
Registration for Boys and Girls Track will be held today at 2:30 in Room S3. Make sure you have all forms filled out and signed by your parents!
Just a reminder to all boy and girl tracksters, that registration will be at 2:20, today after school in S-3. Please have all your paper work in order so you can receive your participation card for your coaches.
There will be an informational meeting for all players who are wanting to tryout for baseball today, at 2:30 pm in the Forum. See you there.
