General Announcements

Congratulation to the 9 members of the speech and debate team that competed in the State speech meet Friday and Saturday. Ben Horblit took fifth place in the state in extemporaneous speaking. Way to go!

Congratulations to all members of the Winter Percussion Ensemble for placing 1st at Saturday's Longmont Competition! Arapahoe scored close to 87 points, 1.5 higher than their closest competition!! Way to go Winter Percussion!!!

Congratulations to all members of the Winter Guard for scoring a season high 81.5 points at the WGI Regional Competition. Arapahoe placed second at Saturday's Show, which was held at Legacy HS. Way to go Winter Guard!!

The ACT Test Prep class starting on Monday will be in room N2.

ATTENTION ALL YOU CREATIVE ARAPAHOE ARTISTS!! “Art Attack” is just around the corner. Check the posters and flyers around the school to see the categories that you may enter your artwork. This is our show of shows for the year for Arapahoe. You do not need to be in an Art class to enter work. If you have questions, check in the Art Dept. GET YOUR ENTRIES IN NOW!!!!!!!

Hey Warriors! Are you interested in a way to decrease your car insurance costs? The Remember . . . Campaign and the PE Department invite you to register for Alive at 25, here at Arapahoe, Wednesday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $30 and registration is online at www.aliveat25.us. Click on “find course”, then “Colorado”, then “High School” and then enter keyword “Arapahoe”. We look forward to seeing you there! Registration ends March 30th.

Athletics

The girls' Gold Lacrosse team continued its winning season on Saturday with a 15-4 victory over Lewis-Palmer. Scoring for the Warriors were Sydney Engelhart, Katelyn Manzer, Sam Perkins, Bri Rehberg and Michelle Scott. Great job lady lacrosse Warriors!
