General Announcements

Seniors: Your graduation announcement orders can be picked up Wednesday, March 4, in the cafeteria during lunches.

Attention all students: CSAP testing for Freshmen and Sophomores will begin next week, March 9-12. Room assignments are posted in the Cafeteria and the Trophy Hall. Please check your room assignment in advance and come to the Attendance Office if you have any questions. Bell schedules for all students are posted around the building.

Attention NHS members. We need 10 volunteers to work parent/ teacher conferences next Thursday night, March 5th from 4 to 8 p.m. Please sign up at Mrs. Lee's desk in the English department.

Attention Arapahoe! Is continuing our relationship with the Arapaho Tribe important to you? If so, apply to go on the cultural exchange trip to the Wind River Reservation April 16 and 17, sponsored by the senior class. Pick up your application in the library, the social studies department, or the main office. You do not need to be a senior to attend, and we would love your application. Applications are due by March 9th to Ms. Price or Ms. Levi.

Please check the Lost and Found table located in the cafeteria for any clothing you may have misplaced, and stop by the Attendance office for any lost valuables.

Athletics

The boys and girls basketball teams have both advanced to the “Sweet 16” round of the state tournament. The girls will play Central Grand Junction on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 pm at Colorado Mines. The boys will play Ralston Valley on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30 pm at the Budweiser Event Center. Ticket prices for both games are $8 for adults and $6 for K-12 students and Senior Citizens. Go Warriors!

Hey spirited Warriors! It’s that time of year again. . . Tryouts for the 2009-2010 Arapahoe High School JV and Varsity Cheerleading Teams!! Clinics will be held March 17th and 18th with tryouts on March 20th. There will be a Mandatory informational meeting for parents/athletes next Wednesday, March 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the AHS Forum. You and a parent must attend, and you MUST have a current physical on file with the Athletic Office if you want to try out. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Pramenko in the main office!
