General Announcements

HO! HO! HO! AHS Toys for Tots has a goal of 1000 toys for Fairview Elementary and the Denver Indian Health and Family Services Center. We now have about 60 toys in the building. We need 940 more toys to meet our goal. We have only 8 school days to collect them. Watch for sales – the best way to shop, and start bringing your toys in tomorrow. You make it happen Warriors!

AGAIN DUE TO THE WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THE LACK OF SNOW, the Student Council Class activity will be here at Arapahoe tomorrow, Friday, November 20.
We will meet in the art room – Room E5 after school. Don’t miss out on the paint war of the century! Let’s see which team wins. Be sure to bring an old white shirt or an old shirt you can turn inside out. For further information, contact your sophomore class officers; Anish Punjabi, Molly O’Donnell, Kaity Ireland, Paige Ledesma, and Margo Cohn.

Listen up all TSA members; don’t forget about the next TSA meeting next Monday Nov 23rd. We will be testing your “Mini Castle Ballistics” projects. Also, it’s time already to register for the State TSA conference. Information and registration packets will be given at this meeting! It’s not too late to join TSA, please come to this meeting to get in on all the Fun!!

Juniors and seniors,
College representatives are still visiting Arapahoe. Continue to check the college visit list or stop by the Post Grad Center to check the schedule. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet with representatives of colleges of interest to you.

Important reminder to all students: Next Tuesday, November 24th, we will be on a Thursday schedule rather that a Tuesday. Please go to your Thursday classes next Tuesday. Tuesday is also the Alive @25 Assembly at 9:07am. Please check the schedules posted throughout the building for class times.

Did you know as of December 1st it is illegal to use a cell phone while driving? This includes texting and phone calls. You will get pulled over and will receive a ticket. Spread the word Warriors, and keep each other safe.
