This week we are bringing attention to a very important issue: Suicide Prevention Awareness. Please stop by the Suicide Prevention Awareness table during both lunches any day this week to pick up your Yellow Ribbon card and stress management tips. You can also watch an informational slideshow on suicide warning signs in the cafeteria. The goal of the week is to let everyone know we care about one another and we are here to help!

Congratulations to the Varsity football team for their rousing 34-24 win against Smoky Hill last Friday night! Come check out the final Varsity game of the season this Thursday night, November 5 at 7:30 pm against Lakewood High School at Trailblazer Stadium. Go Warriors!
Congratulations to the Freshmen Football team for their 56-30 victory last night over Smokey Hill. The victory moved the team’s record to 8 and 1 and secured a second place finish in the Centennial League. The Freshmen will complete their season this Saturday at 10:00 against the Jeffco League Champions Lakewood @ Lakewood High School. Come out and support your Warriors.
Good luck to our JV and Varsity Cheers as they compete tonight in the 2009 Centennial League Championships! The Cheers would love for you to all come out and support them at Eaglecrest High School. Boys’ Soccer has advanced to the 2nd round of State Playoffs and will play Ponderosa today at 6:00 pm at Burt.com Stadium. Admission will be $5 for adults and $4 for all students. Go Warriors!
Attention Boys’ J.V. Soccer players: uniform check in is rescheduled for this Friday in room C7 at 2:30.
Winter Sports registration continues today with Girls Swimming & Diving. Don’t forget to bring your completed registration paperwork to turn in. Wrestling will register on Wednesday. All registrations will take place in Room S4 at 2:30 pm.
If you are interested in participating in Track and Field this spring there will be a short informational meeting this Thursday in room S-14 at 2:30. We will be discussing our winter indoor season and conditioning as well as important dates for our spring season. If you are unable to attend please stop by the Math office and talk to Mr. Lienemann, the head Boys’ and Girls’ Track coach.
