General Announcements

Attention all students: Link Crew applications for the 2010-2011 school year are due today by 2:30 on Mr. Trotter’s desk. Applications turned in after 2:30 will not be accepted.

Hey Arapahoe! You know what time it is? Warrior Week! Tickets for the CU Buffoons Concert on March 29 and the Student-Staff Basketball game on April 1, along with our new Warrior Week t-shirts will be on sale in the cafeteria today and the week after spring break! The proceeds this year will go to The Dalit Freedom Network and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

The Art Attack is Coming…the Art Attack is Coming!
Yes all of you Arapahoe Artists out there…it’s time for you to gather your artwork together and submit your work for the 6th Annual Art Attack Show, sponsored by the Arapahoe Art Dept. and the Arapahoe PTO.
We have 12 categories ranging from B&W Drawing to Jewelry to Digital Photography. Check out the entire list of categories and get your work into the Art Dept. by Friday April 2nd. So that gives you all of Spring break to put the finishing touches on those masterpieces of yours and get them in. Entry forms are available in the Art office…see any art teacher for one or two or more!

Attention All Juniors!!!! Registration for the State ACT is coming….April 12th in Western Civilization Classrooms. Counselors will walk you through it during class time. If you don’t have a Western Civ. class, please make an appointment with your counselor.

Hey Warriors. Auditions for Prom Talent Show are quickly approaching! Auditions are April 20th and 21st. Sign-ups will be in the main office starting after spring break. This is a reminder warriors…start practicing your acts!!

Athletics

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse team in their decisive victory over Kent last night 8 to 4. Kudos especially to Hunter Hall with his 2 assists and a hat trick. Welcome back to goalie Scott Thompson who denied Kent repeatedly. Goals also scored by Greg Colosimo, Dylan Leary, Rollie Murchison and Greg Bechler. Way to go boys! Please wish the team luck as they travel to Dallas next week to face some of the toughest teams in Texas!
After dropping their game against Kent on Wednesday, the Warrior Boys’ Freshman Lacrosse team tries to get back on the winning track against rival Cherry Creek. They're in action tomorrow morning at 10 a.mm as they travel to Cherry Creek High School.

The Men’s Swim and Dive team swam against Overland High School yesterday, and dominated with a score of 121 to 68. The divers performed well and beat the Overland divers. Thanks to all the fans who came out to support their Arapahoe water warriors.

The Girls’ Varsity Tennis team defeated Cherokee Trail yesterday by a score of 6-1. Congratulations girls!
