Warrior Week is here! Catch a Dream – Change a Life. Funds collected throughout Warrior Week will help support 2 organizations: (1) St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and (2) The Dalit Freedom Network. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital helps support children suffering from cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The Dalit Freedom Network supports the Dalit people of India – with population estimates of 250 million, this is the largest number of people categorized as victims of modern-day slavery. Student Council members will be carrying marked tennis cans throughout Warrior Week to collect money for these 2 organizations. Donations can also be placed into one of the large jugs located in the library, the front office or the DECA store.
In support of Warrior Week, the annual Staff vs. Senior basketball game will be this Thursday evening at 7pm in the AHS gymnasium. Tickets are $3 presale or $5 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria during all lunches this week. Warrior Week t-shirts are also on sale during lunches.
