General Announcements
Monday: Hey Warriors, happy Western Monday! Tomorrow is Black and White Formal day! Let’s see everyone participate and wear those penguin colors! Tomorrow is also the Royalty Assembly! That means a modified schedule! And of course, Saturday is the Homecoming Candy Land Dance in the main gym from 8-11pm! Tickets are on sale for $10 during lunch or $15 at the door! See you there!

Hey Freshmen Warriors! Are you ready for Homecoming? Come join Link Leaders on Wednesday after school in the cafeteria for the T-shirt decorating party! There will be free cookies and T-shirt decorating supplies! Just bring your Homecoming T-shirt and join us in this Homecoming tradition! See you there!

“The first meeting of the Arapahoe Technology Student Association or “TSA club” will be this Thursday, Sept 16 after school at 2:30 in Room E6. If you are interested in fun Leadership Opportunities, Technology Problem-Solving activities, and hands-on projects like bridge building, CO2 cars, imaging technology, graphic design, and much more…. this club is for you! See Mr. McMullen in E6 for questions. Be sure to bring your wooden TSA coin for a delicious free cookie”

Congratulations to the Warrior Band and Color Guard on an awesome performance at the state parade championships in Arvada last Saturday! The band earned second place in 5A. The band earned the highest music score, and the Color Guard earned the highest Color Guard score. WAY TO GO WARRIORS!!!!

Athletics
Congratulations to the Sophomore volleyball team for taking 1st place at the Heritage Tournament this weekend. The team beat Heritage in the finals to win the title. The team was led by All-tournament player Lindsay Gendill and Tournament MVP Brittnee Albertsen. Way to go girls!

Congratulations to the Freshmen football team for another impressive win on Saturday defeating Palmer High school 47-0. The win moves the team record to 2 and 0. The victory was a total team win with contributions from the Offense, Defense and Special Teams. Come out and support your Freshmen team here at AHS on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM in their homecoming game against Fossil Ridge High School

Any Junior or Senior Athlete interested in competing in Athletics at the College level please stop by the Athletic Office and sign up for an NCAA/NAIA Compliance Orientation that will take place on Tuesday, September 21st during both lunches in the Forum.
