General Announcements
It’s that time of year for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National Honor Society! If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership. Eligible students should be receiving a letter at their home address, inviting them to join and also explaining the application process. If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven’t received a letter at home by the end of the week, please contact Mr. Smith in the science office or Mrs. Leclaire in the English office.

Ticket selling for this year’s fall talent show will be during both lunches from September 20 to the 23. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Ticket cost is $5. The show will be September 23 at 5 and 7 p.m. in the theater. Don’t miss out on Arapahoe’s talent. Also, if you have made the show… please go and see Hitchens or Lhotta ASAP!
Hey Seniors- just because Homecoming is over doesn’t mean that school spirit has stopped. Senior jerseys are still on sale during lunches today in the cafeteria for only $15! Stop by and pick one up – Go Seniors!
Hey Juniors and Sophomores! The PSAT Test is coming! When……October 13th! Sign up for the test begins September 27th! Mark the dates!
Students please remember that your attendance is very important. Whenever possible, please plan to make your appointments after the school day.
Athletics
Congratulations to the jv golfers who finished first place out of sixteen teams at Fitzsimons golf course. Congrats to the varsity golfers who finished in second place out of 24 teams at Riverdale Knolls.
The Warrior football teams, fans and alumni celebrated victory at homecoming:
· Varsity team won 59-17
· JV team won 26-21
This is the last call for signing up for the NCAA/NAIA Orientation that will be held tomorrow during lunches in the Forum. If you are interested please make sure to stop by the Athletic Office today and get signed up.
