HAAAAAPPY Spirit Day warriors! Tonight is the Varsity football game vs. Overland at LPS Stadium at 7 p.m. Let’s support our boys as they battle for victory! And of course, the Disney/Pixar Presents: Arapahoe Homecoming Dance is TOMORROW in the main gym from 8-11 p.m. Today is the last day to buy tickets for $10 during lunch, or you can buy them for $15 at the door! Don’t forget, dress is semi-formal. Students wearing jeans or not appropriately dressed will not be permitted to attend the dance. Tomorrow is also the Homecoming Parade at 10 a.m. in the West Lot. You can check out all the different floats and watch the band and color guard perform! See you there!
After tonight’s varsity football game, please join the team at Qdoba at Streets of Southglenn. Qdoba has a $5.00 meal deal for everyone and they will stay open to serve all Warrior fans. Additionally, all football coaches, varsity managers and selected senior football players eat free. See you at Qdoba and good luck Warriors!
The speech and debate team will hold its weekly meeting Tuesday, the 27th, in Room C15 at 2:30. Current and prospective members should plan to be there as we will be preparing for our first tournament at Regis on October 8th.
Juniors, remember to register for the PSAT today through October 5 in the Guidance Center. Photo ID and $10.00 are required to register.
Athletics:
Congratulations to the Varsity boys’ tennis team who won against Columbine on Wednesday 6-1 and won against Mullen yesterday 5-2. Congratulations should also go out to the JV boys' tennis team who also swept the competition at Columbine 9-0 and won against Mullen 10-2. Go Warriors!
Congrats to the Sophomore and Varsity volleyball teams for their wins last night against Cherokee Trail!
Congratulations to the Freshmen Football team for another exciting win yesterday defeating Overland 24-12. The win was a total team effort and allowed the Freshmen team to remain undefeated on the year with a 4 and 0 record. Thanks for all that came out and supported the team. The Freshmen will take on Heritage next Thursday at 4:00 at Heritage. Come out and support your Freshmen Warriors.
Congrats to the JV boys soccer team who defeated Eaglecrest yesterday 3 – 0. Congratulations to the Varsity boys soccer team who opened league play with a 2 – 0 victory over Eaglecrest yesterday. Reminder to ALL boys soccer players: Be on the bleachers at the south field by 2:30 today.
