It’s that time of year for eligible juniors and seniors to start applying for membership in National Honor Society! If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership. Eligible students should be receiving a letter at their home address, inviting them to join and also explaining the application process. If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven’t received a letter at home, please contact Mr. Smith or Mrs. Wayman in the science office. This letter also tells you about important informational meetings going on this week. If you are applying for membership in NHS, you must attend one of these meetings to learn about the club and the application process. There are four meetings being held for you to choose from: Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 6:55 in room W-103, and Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at 2:20 in room W-103. Remember that these meetings are only for eligible juniors and seniors, so if you are unsure whether you are eligible, please contact Mr. Smith or Mrs. Wayman in the science office.
