General Announcements

TODAY! TODAY! TODAY! Do you have 4th period off, or have 2nd lunch? At 12:00 today in the auditorium, come check out the sickest dance crew at Arapahoe when the Theatre Movement class performs a hip-hop dance routine to the Black Eyed Peas song “The Time.” Noon Today!

If you checked out a copy of the script for the fall play, and have not returned it to Mr. Ahern, please do so as soon as possible. A list of people is posted on the callboard in the drama hallway.

Seniors, your time is running out! You need to turn in your senior photos and biographies for the yearbook to either Mr. Anderson in the yearbook room, E-8, or to the front office by tomorrow!

There will be a boys and girls swimming and diving meeting immediately after school tomorrow, September 9th in the Forum. This meeting is for all boys and girls who are interested in swimming and diving during the upcoming year. If you cannot attend this meeting and are interested in swimming/diving for the team this year, please see Coach Richmond for information.

Seniors! Interested in helping out with the senior float for the homecoming parade? The float decoration party is at Katelyn Manzer's house starting at 10 a.m. this Sunday the 11th. For the address see a senior class officer or look on Mrs. Lhotta’s desk in the math office.

Juniors! Do you want to help build the junior class float? On Saturday, September 10 and 17, the junior class is meeting at Stacey Lukasieiwcz's house to start the construction of the junior class float for the homecoming parade. All juniors are welcome! Contact Stacey Lukasiewicz or one of the junior class officers for more information.

Please join the Speech and Debate Team for our first official meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 2:30 in room C15. We look forward to seeing all interested students! You might be surprised at how much fun this is! Plus, it looks good to colleges, too!

HEEEEEEEY WARRIORS!! The all school varsity tailgate is tomorrow!! Join LINK CREW outside by the track at 4 o’clock!! Bring 3 dollars and you’ll get a high quality hot dog, crunchy chips, a delicious can of soda and a COOKIE!! Face Paint and hair dye will be provided! All students attending will get a FREE ride over to LPS stadium to root on the Warriors!! You MUST GET YOUR OWN RIDE HOME. Once again, we provide a free ride to the game, but you need to GET YOUR OWN RIDE HOME! This is an event you do NOT want to miss! See you there!

Hello Warriors! If you are planning to run, walk (or even sleep in) for The 2011 Denver Komen Race for the Cure please consider signing up through the link on the Arapahoe Web Site! We are trying to form the largest school team. If we do, our Arapahoe Cheers & Toms will be placed at either the race start or finish line to cheer on 50,000 survivors and friends. We are currently in second place!! Our team is for EVERYONE in the Arapahoe community. Please sign up by Sunday, September 11th (which is the deadline for this contest). The cost to join is $35.00. Even if you cannot join by September 11th, please join any time before the race, which is October 2nd. See Mrs. Pramenko if you have any questions.

Students: Do you need a PSAT and SAT Test Preparation Seminar? If yes….you are ready to learn test taking strategies through ZAPS Educational Seminars. Athletics:

Congratulations to the boys Varsity Soccer team who defeated Mullen 1 – 0 last night. The guys will play Overland Saturday night at LPSS at 7:00pm for the Warrior Invitational Championship.
