Today is the last day to sign up for
auditions to read the bulletin for next year.
Sign up in the attendance office.
Auditions will be held tomorrow right after school.
On Monday afternoon, the Warrior
Marching Band began their annual auditions to select the new student leaders
for the 2012 marching season. At this
time, please congratulate juniors Veronica Mata and Grant Larson for being selected
as your new 2012-13 Drum Majors!!! Also,
please congratulate junior Teresa Rausch for being selected as your 2012-13
Alternate Drum Major! Please stay tuned
at the beginning of next week to see who was selected to the rest of the
Warrior Band leadership team.
All drama club members - there will be a
drama club meeting on Monday, April 30th at 2:30 in the theatre. At this meeting we will vote on awards for
the year and go over the procedure to receive a letter in theatre, so don't
miss it!
The games are on for After Prom. Tickets
to After Prom will go on sale for all Juniors and Seniors tomorrow Wednesday,
April 25 during all lunch hours. They are $15 per person.
Prom Guest Forms are now available in
the Attendance office. Please note that
they are due back no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st.
After Prom means that time of year for
After Prom Senior Collages. The After Prom Committee has decided to let you
choose the size of your Senior Collage as long as it is a rectangle and no
larger than 28" X 22". Please follow the Monopoly guidelines in the
March/April Newsletters.
Want a great pre-prom date that is
free? Come see the AHS Company show on
Tuesday, May 1st. The advanced acting
class will be producing not one, but two short plays all about that crazy
little thing called love. And best of
all it's free! The show starts at 7:00 -
be there!
Athletics:
Tonight the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team
will take on Heritage at LPS stadium, game time is 6:00. We need all of our
fans to come cheer the team onto another victory.
Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball
team, they beat Smoky Hill 11 to 4. Come
out and support the team as we host Cherry Creek on Thursday at 4:15.
