Announcements:

The Warrior Winter Guard and Winter Percussion Ensemble are hosting a pre-state performance for students, staff, friends and family tonight in the AHS Main Gym at 7:30 PM. They would like to invite you to come and cheer them on. Both groups will perform their 2012 shows in full costume before their final competition of the year on Saturday. They are looking forward to State Preliminaries and Finals on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The Winter Guard will be competing at the Denver Coliseum and the Percussion Ensemble will be competing at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield. Good luck Warrior Winter Guard and Winter Percussion!

Hey KeyClubbers, be sure to come to our next meeting on Monday, the 9th, to hear information about elections for next year's officers. Elections will be on Monday the 16th. See you all there.

Auditions for the 2012-2013 AHS Choirs will be held April 23 - 27. Please see Ms. Parmenter in the choir room for additional information and to sign up for an audition time.

Piano players needed. We're looking for two piano players to accompany The Choralettes and The Arapahoe Singers next year. Please see Ms. Parmenter in the choir room for audition information.

Hey wacky Warriors, do you have a tricky talent? If you do then stop by the fabulous front desk and sign up for talent show tryouts. Tryouts are next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 10 and 11th.

Seniors! Take advantage of the last opportunity to represent your class--audition for keynote speaker for graduation! One time auditions will be held after school on Tuesday, April 17. Please sign up for your audition at Mrs. Debow's window in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kleeman in Language Arts.

Hey juniors and seniors! Today during both lunches is your last chance to nominate prom royalty--don't miss out! Nominations for Senior graduation favorites will also be taken at this time.

Hey seniors! We need your help. Come to the cafeteria during both lunches this week to vote on the class motto, song, female and male readers for graduation. Only six weeks left!

Juniors, if you have been invited to participate in graduation as a Junior Attendant, please don't forget to stop by Mrs. DeBow's desk in the Guidance office to let her know if you are able to participate.

Prom Guest Forms are now available in the Attendance office. Please note that they are due back no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st.

Do you like math? Well then you should come and challenge yourself at the Metro State Math Day Competition. On Monday, April 9th you can travel with Mrs. Bretz to Metro State and compete in algebra and geometry competitions as well as an engineering competition. This is a fun filled day of math activities. If interested, please stop by Mrs. Bretz's desk in the math office and pick up a permission slip or see Mrs. Bretz.

Summer school information is available in the Guidance Office! Stop by and pick up a registration packet today. Summer school will take place June 4-29 at Arapahoe Community College. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.

Athletics:

The JV Gold Boys lacrosse team has a game tonight at 4:30pm at Kent Denver. JV Golds next game is Monday April 9th at 6:30pm at Regis High School. Go Warriors!

The JV Tennis team defeated Smoky Hill yesterday 10-3.

The Arapahoe Track & Field program would like to invite you to our city of Littleton Track & Field Championships today at LPS Stadium. The meet begins at 3:30pm and the weather forecast calls for temperatures in the 70's. Come on out and spend your afternoon supporting your track team. Arapahoe is the host school so all students get in free with their athletic pass.

This afternoon the Girls' Varsity lacrosse team will take on Grandview at Legacy Stadium in Aurora. Game time is 5:30 p.m. Come route for your Warriors as they try to continue their undefeated streak. Victory over the Wolves, Arapahoe!"
