charging is not allowed in the café. Please

Can’t make the trip out to Shea Stadium tonight? You’re
in luck because the Spear broadcasting crew is heading on the road to Highlands
Ranch to broadcast the football game. The Warriors will be facing the Mountain
Vista Golden Eagles. If you’re not cheering on the Warriors from the stands,
support them by watching the game live. Go to the Arapahoe home page and find
the Spear logo to connect to the Spear Broadcasting Network.
Hey Key Clubbers, we are excited to announce that from now on we
will be meeting in the Forum at 2:20 every Monday after school.
Also, T-shirt order forms and money are due on Monday. The
forms are on our Facebook page at Arapahoe High School Key Club. Don't
forget to join us in building the homecoming float this Saturday.

Monday.
Don’t forget that this week is the week to nominate your class
royalty and the Homecoming King and Queen for the class of 2014! Vote for
someone with great Warrior spirit. This year the nominations are through
a Google form which you can find on the Arapahoe web page!

if you are planning to attend the PSAT/SAT prep course offered tonight in Rooms
W201 and W202, please be sure to enter the building through the West Entrance.
Seniors
applying to service academies: A reminder that deadlines for Congressional
nominations are rapidly approaching! If you are interested in applying for a
nomination, see your counselor or Mrs. Lewallen in the Post Grad Center.
Deadline for Senator Udall is Friday, September 27; for Senator Bennet is Monday, September 30;
for Congressman Coffman is Friday, October 11.
Attention all Juniors . . . Please attend a
planning meeting today after school in Room C21 if you are interested in
participating in the Junior Class homecoming float.
Please take the time to
check the Library Overdue lists. The lists are located on the bulletin boards
in the north and south hallways, the library and Bookkeepers office. Check
periodically to make sure that you don’t have a fine or overdue book. These
lists are updated weekly. Thanks Warriors!
Athletics
Attention all boys and girls swimmers and
divers: there will be a swim team meeting today after school in the Forum.
Winter Sports Registration is now open online.
Log on to www.ahswarriors.org and follow the instructions on the Home
Page to sign up for boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling, or girls swim/dive.
There
will be an NCAA/NAIA Orientation for all
interested Juniors and Seniors scholar-athletes on Tuesday, September 24th during both lunches in the Forum. Please stop by
the Athletic Office and sign up for the meeting.
