Congratulations, Arapahoe!!!! Arapahoe made The Dean’s
List, as one of the Top 20 Colorado Schools in the September issue of 5280 Magazine. Schools were chosen based on
assessment scores for both academic achievement, as well as student growth, in
all 3 areas of reading, writing and math. Way to go, Warriors!

It's
Key Club! Hey Warriors, thanks for checking us out at Club Cafe. If
you missed us there, you can still come to our first meeting today at 2:30 in Room C16. Can't wait to see
you there!
Anyone
interested in participating in Speech and Debate this year should plan to
attend the Team meeting after school this Tuesday at 2:30 in C15.
The
first National Honor Society meeting of the year will be on Wednesday,
after school in the Forum. This meeting is for current members - seniors
who were inducted last year. So current members, we'll see you at 2:25 on Wednesday for
a short meeting. For those interested in applying for membership in NHS,
information about the application process will be sent out in letters in
October.
Hey Seniors! Don't forget your senior class photo is tomorrow at 7:50 a.m. in the main gym! You will be
released from your first hour class by an announcement. See you there!!
Do you have an amazing
talent that you want to share with the school?
The Homecoming Talent Show is coming up on September 30th,
and we are looking for fun and exciting acts to star in the show! Tryouts will be held on Sept 17th from 3:00 to
5:30, as well as Sept 18th from 5:00 to 7:30.
If you are interested, please pick up the tryout forms from the Main Office! These forms are available now, so start
thinking about showcasing your talent!!
Seniors, turn in your
yearbook portrait and bios by Thursday, September 12 to the Journalism Room E-8.

Congratulations
to the boys JV soccer team who defeated Overland 6 - 0 on Saturday.
Congratulations to the boys Varsity soccer team who won the
Warrior Invitational tournament Saturday defeating Broomfield. The game went into double overtime and penalty
kicks. Great job ABK.
Interested
girl golfers . . . we will be having a meeting today at 2:30 in S11. Please attend the meeting for golf
information.
Attention AHS baseball players and families. If your son has
plans to play baseball next spring, please plan on attending this
year’s first Baseball Booster Club meeting. The meeting will take
place tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum.
