General Announcements
Congratulations to all the DECA competitors who placed at the CSU Invitational yesterday.  We finished with two first place finishers, nine second place finishers, and five third place finishers.  Great job!

Good morning Arapahoe!  The food drive has officially begun and will continue through the 31st.  Bring in your canned goods, cereal, baby food, and ethnic foods to donate.  You can also bring in spare change at lunch where it will be collected to purchase food items.  All donations go to Field Elementary!  Get donating!

Just a reminder that the next TSA meeting will be today after school in Room E6.

Attention all Sophomores:  The deadline to sign up for the Aspire test is TODAY!  The test will be given on Saturday, November 1, from 7:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.  The cost of the test is $35. Come to the Guidance Office to register for this exam!

FBLA meeting tomorrow at 2:30 in Room E9.  We will be discussing Trick or Treat Street, Shred a thon and sign up for competition.  If you have any questions, visit Mr. Sawyer or Mrs. Swank in the business office.

Hey Warriors! Do you love sports? Have you always wanted to be an announcer for a sporting event? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then now is your chance. We are looking for announcers for the annual DECA Dodgeball tournament. We will be holding tryouts tomorrow at 2:30 in classroom S1. See Ms. Krueger if you have any questions.

Hey Speech and Debate … remember all forms and fees are due by October 30 in order to compete. This includes all returning members. Turn them in to Mrs. Schroeder's desk in the English office.

Hey Arapahoe writers and artists! Do you have a poem, college essay or personal narrative or story? What about artwork or photography? Submit your work and become part of The Muse! We are currently looking for all writing and artwork to publish in this year’s magazine! The deadline to submit work is October 31st .  Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! Athletics

Come watch the Arapahoe Varsity soccer team in home Playoff action this Thursday as they host Westminster High School at 4:00 at the Varsity soccer field. It is going to be a BLACKOUT, so make sure to wear all black and cheer on your Warriors as they begin post-season play.

Hey Warriors! Come rock your run at the Stride 5k or 10k event on Sunday Oct. 26th at Ketring Park. You can register for this run or walk event at www.runthestride.com .  Thank you for supporting your school and the LPS Foundation by participating in this district wide event. 

Pink Cards for winter sports will be distributed in the cafeteria Wednesday from 2:15-2:45 p.m.  You must register online and have a current physical on file prior to receiving your pink card.
