General Announcements

FBLA meeting today at 2:30 in Room E9.  We will be discussing Trick or Treat Street, Shred a thon and sign up for competition.  If you have any questions, visit Mr. Sawyer or Mrs. Swank in the business office.

It's time for the monthly Arapahoe Herald survey, so check your LPS email account for the link. The survey closes tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m., so please take it today! Thank you.

Would you like to pay off that library fine and at the same time donate to the Food Drive? How do you ask!? 
Now until October 30th you will receive a.50 credit off your fine balance for every non perishable food donation you bring in to the library.  Plus all money collected on fines during this time will be donated to the food drive. 
To ensure that you receive credit toward your fine personally hand your donation to any of the library staff. Help yourself while you help others.

Hey Warriors! Do you love sports? Have you always wanted to be an announcer for a sporting event? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then now is your chance. We are looking for announcers for the annual DECA Dodgeball tournament. We will be holding tryouts today at 2:30 in classroom S1. See Ms. Krueger if you have any questions.

Hey Speech and Debate … remember all forms and fees are due by October 30 in order to compete. This includes all returning members. Turn them in to Mrs. Schroeder's desk in the English office.

Hey Arapahoe writers and artists! Do you have a poem, college essay or personal narrative or story? What about artwork or photography? Submit your work and become part of The Muse! We are currently looking for all writing and artwork to publish in this year’s magazine! The deadline to submit work is October 31st .  Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity! Athletics

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Cheer teams for their outstanding efforts at their first competition of the season this past weekend , Americheer.  Both teams placed 2nd.  Great job Girls!!

Pink Cards for winter sports will be distributed in the cafeteria today from 2:15-2:45 p.m.  You must register online and have a current physical on file prior to receiving your pink card.

Attention Baseball Players/Parents:  Registration is now open for the 2014-2015 Baseball season.  Please go to the web site and register.  Once registered, you will begin to receive important information from the Coaches and the Booster Club. www.arapahoebaseball.com.

Hey Warriors! Come rock your run at the Stride 5k or 10k event on Sunday Oct. 26th at Ketring Park. You can register for this run or walk event at www.runthestride.com .  Thank you for supporting your school and the LPS Foundation by participating in this district wide event. 

Good Morning Warriors!!    What sport will you play this spring?  Girls lacrosse registration is being held Thursday, October 30th, at 7 00pm in the AHS Cafeteria.   Please bring your friends who have been playing others sports such soccer, cross country, basketball, etc.   Come join us and feel free to check out the AHS Girls Lacrosse Team website at  http://girls.ahslax.org    Go Warriors!
