General Announcements

Hello Warriors!  We are extremely proud to announce the names of the semifinalists in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program.  These students are honored for their outstanding performance on the 2014 PSAT which they took last October.  The semifinalists are:  Atlee Witt and Zachary Woosley.  If you see these seniors in class or in the halls, please congratulate them.  Great job Warriors!  

Need to get rid of old clothes? The Varsity Toms team is doing a clothing drive this Saturday, September 12th.  There will be a donation truck in the south parking lot from 10-12, and all donations will go to the Epilepsy Foundation. Thanks for your help!

Hey Warriors! Are you looking for something fun to do on Sunday? The Arapahoe softball team is hosting a bowling fundraiser this Sunday from 12 to 2 at the AMF Littleton Lanes. Come out and support the softball program and have fun with your friends. See Coach Krueger if you have any questions.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Don’t miss being in your Senior Class Photo! Tuesday, September 15-First Period in the Main Gym. All Seniors should be there.  Don’t miss being in the picture! (For seniors wishing to order a photo of the class, order forms will be available at the time the photo is taken.)

Hey everyone! There is a Speech and Debate meeting today right after school in C15. If you are interested in joining, please plan on coming until 3:30 so you can learn about all of our events. Hope to see you there!

Interested in getting more involved in your community? Join Key Club, a community based club. We meet every Monday after school in Room N2, starting Next Monday, September 14th. Come check it out, it's not too late to join!

Hey Warriors! Got Talent?! If so, then plan to come September 21st for tryouts showcasing your skills! Be prepared to show what talent you got! Sign up for a time in the Main Office starting September 14!



Athletics

The Warrior golfers all but wrapped up the Centennial League Championship yesterday.  They shot 295 which broke a team record that was set in 1990. Austin Duffy led the team with a one under par 71.

Come support your JV Toms as they compete for the first time this Saturday, September 12th from 4-6 at Elitch Gardens.

Congratulations to the JV Boys Tennis Team!  The team beat Grandview 14-5 on Tuesday. Come out and watch the team against Creek today at Powell.  The match starts at 3:30.  

Last night, your Boys’ Varsity Soccer team lost by a score of 1-0 to Littleton, and JV beat Littleton by a score of 2-1. The third and final day of the Warrior Invitational Tournament is this Saturday! Varsity will face off against Prairie View High School at 5:00 at LPS stadium and JV will play against Hinkley at 1:00 at AHS in the Junior Varsity Championship game.

Good Luck to the Varsity Football team tonight against Doherty at 6:00 pm at LPS stadium. Come out and cheer on your Warriors!
