Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:   The election of 2016 is just around the corner and New Era Colorado wants to help you register and preregister to vote!  They will be visiting Arapahoe on Tuesday September 22nd, Wednesday September 23rd and Thursday September 24th. If you are 16, 17, or 18 years old and are a US citizen please bring a state issued ID to school so you can perform your civic responsibility of registering to vote!  Registration will take place in all Government and Economics classes and they will have registration tables in the bubble hallway for those that are interested!

Hey Key Clubbers! Thanks to all who showed up at Monday's Key Club meeting, we had a great turn out. If you were not able to come to the meeting, it's not too late to join! You can see Ms. McVey in the Social Studies office for a sign up form. Next Monday's meeting will be in the Forum, right after school at 2:20pm. Hope to see you there!

Hey Warriors!  The annual DECA Dodgeball tournament is about a month away!
That means it's time to register for the event. The theme for this year's tournament is Halloween! Registration packets may be picked up in the Business Office starting today. Teams must consist of 5 boys and 5 girls. The teams are chosen on a first-come first-serve basis. Only the first 20 teams to turn in completed registration packets will be allowed to participate in the tournament. Prepare to be SPOOKED!

Yesterday, your Boys’ Fresh/Sophomore Soccer team beat Smoky Hill with a strong all-around effort. Great job Warriors!

Back-to-back matches resulted in back-to-back wins for your Arapahoe varsity tennis team!  The JV Boys Tennis Team also kept their winning streak alive by defeating Smoky Hill 8-3. The team is currently undefeated. With a little luck, they’ll complete the trifecta by conquering Columbine this afternoon. Matches start at 3:30 at the AHS courts.
All lady warriors interested in playing basketball this upcoming winter should plan on attending open gyms this week and for the rest of the fall season! Open gym times are listed on the website. Please see Ms. Hancock in the Language Arts department if you have questions. See you on the court!

Come out and support your Warrior Football Team tonight at Legacy Stadium at 7:00 pm. Tomorrow J/V plays at 11:30 am, and Freshman play at 9:00 am at Grandview High School. Go Warriors!

For further details on any announcements see the Arapahoe web site.
