ATTENTION SENIORS: Don’t miss being in your Senior Class Photo!
Tuesday,
September 15-First Period in the Main Gym. All Seniors should be there. Don’t miss
being in the picture! (For seniors wishing to order a photo of the class, order forms will be
available at the time the photo is taken.)
National
Honor Society members, our first meeting of the year will be today after
school in the forum! It will be a short meeting, to give members an
opportunity to be introduced to our new officers, to remind you of our service
requirements, and also to inform you all of some good service opportunities. Please
join us by 2:25 in the forum for a 10-15 minute meeting.
Warriors ... it's time to get into your garage
and gather up your old, broken, outgrown tennis racquets! Racquets for
All is a great local Colorado nonprofit that rebuilds and repurposes your old
racquets and makes them like new for kids and families who otherwise
couldn't enjoy the great game of tennis. AHS
Tennis is supporting Racquets for All. Please bring your
unwanted racquets to the office. The tennis guys will collect them and
deliver them to the organization. Racquets can be in any condition, any size.
Hey Warriors! Got Talent?!
If so, then plan to come September 21st for tryouts showcasing your skills! Be
prepared to show what talent you got! Sign up for a time in the Main Office
starting September 14!
Attention all students who are interested in joining
FBLA this year. The first FBLA Club Meeting will be held today after
school in room E-9.
Athletics
Congratulations to the Warrior Golfers for finishing in
3rd place at the Air Force Academy Tournament! A special “At-A-Boy” to
Tyler Martinez. He finished 2 individually out of more than 80 golfers with a
71. Good luck today at League!
Congratulations to our varsity boys tennis team for their season-opening
win against Grandview! Next up, the semi-finals of the U.S. Open.
Just kidding! They’ll take on Cherry Creek tomorrow afternoon at home. Come out to
the courts and show your support!
Congratulations to our JV volleyball players on their win yesterday over
Rock Canyon. Home opener is next Tuesday against Chatfield at 6:15. Come out
and support your warriors!
Last night,
your Boys’ Varsity Soccer team battled to a double overtime 1-1 tie with
Rampart. Josh Draudt scored the Arapahoe goal. The Arapahoe Junior Varsity was
victorious by a 7-0 score. Tonight is
the second evening of the Warrior Invitational Tournament at LPS stadium. The
Varsity squad will face off against Littleton at 7:30, and JV will play Littleton at AHS at 5:30. Come root on your Warriors this evening!
