General Announcements

Attention Seniors! There is a mandatory Senior class meeting next Tuesday, April 19, from 10:00-11:00 in the AHS Theater. Please plan to attend to receive vital graduation information, find out about Senior class voting and other important details regarding your big day. See you there!

For Seniors that have taken a Personal Finance class, applications are now available for the $1000 Personal Finance Scholarship.  Please stop by the post grad office to pick up information.  Applications are due May 2nd.

Attention students: the library will be closed during the assessment times next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make other arrangements for studying during that time. Freshmen: remember to bring your own headphones for use during the Language Arts portion of the CMAS assessment.

You can still buy tickets for Anything Goes at lunch - don’t wait to buy them at the door as we will most most likely sell out. Tickets are on sale at lunch. It’s $8.00 for students and $10.00 for adults.  Performances are this Thursday through Saturday and all shows are at 7pm.

Would you like to win a day with your friends at Top Golf?  How about a day at Water World?
Or a day at a Rockies game with gas and food money included?  Want to pick a grab bag with cash in it?  Then come to Arapahoe’s After Prom!  We have the best after prom in Colorado!  It starts at midnight, April 30 right after the dance!  Tickets will go on sale soon!  See you there!

Juniors and Seniors, get ready to vote for this year’s AHS Prom Royalty! Voting will be available all day today in the cafeteria. Make sure to go in and cast a vote!

Athletics

The Girls lacrosse teams are coming off a great weekend - with both JV and Varsity beating Grandview last Friday night at home! Come cheer on the girls today as both teams travel to Colorado Academy to dethrone the #1 ranked team in state.  Varsity plays at 4 and JV plays at4:30.

Boys varsity lacrosse hits the field again tonight against one of our neighboring rivals, Heritage.  Hope to see you at LPS Stadium at 6:00 pm!

Attention volleyball players! Spring Open Gyms will be on Tuesday nights from 7-9pm in the Auxiliary Gym. No fees or forms required, just come ready to play...please get there a little early to help set up nets. We look forward to seeing you back in the gym!
