General Announcements

Attention students: the library will be closed during the assessment times next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make other arrangements for studying during that time. Freshmen: remember to bring your own headphones for use during the Language Arts portion of the CMAS assessment.

Anything Goes is a huge hit! This weekend is your last chance to see this great performance, and today is the last day to buy tickets at lunch for the show. You can buy tickets for tonight or tomorrow night, but don’t wait to get them at the door, only a few seats are left. You won’t want to miss it!

Hey Warriors-If you would like to work in the DECA Store next year, please stop by the Business Office for an application.

Attention Seniors! There is a mandatory Senior class meeting this coming Tuesday, April 19, from 10:00-11:00 in the AHS Theater. Please plan to attend to receive vital graduation information, find out about Senior class voting and other important details regarding your big day. See you there!

Attention Link Crew applicants! Your applications have been reviewed, and Link Crew Leaders for the 2016-17 school year will be posted after school today. The list will be posted in the Link Crew glass case in the North Hallway across from the library. We look forward to working with you all!

Attention ALL Art Attack Artists! We want to say thank you to all the students who submitted work into this year's Art Attack.  The show is a huge success with over 600 pieces. An awards ceremony will be held this coming Tuesday April 19th.  Winners in each category will be announced and cash prizes will be awarded to our winners.  The reception will start at 7pm in the theater hallway with awards given at 7:30pm.  We hope to see you there!

Speech and debate team members -- your lettering applications are due on Thursday, April 21st. Please stop by practice to fill them out!


Athletics

Congratulations to the sophomore baseball team as they defeated Cherokee trail on Tuesday 10-9, and again last night 9-5. Great job Warriors!

Huge win for the JV Tennis Team for defeating Cherry Creek 10-3!! The Warriors dominated the match with consistent serves, dynamic shots and aggressive net play. Awesome Victory!! Great Teamwork!! Way to Go Doubles Teams!!

Boys Varsity Lacrosse had three wins this week ... and tonight they're shooting for the fourth!  Bundle up and come on out to LPS Stadium at 5pm as they take on Smokey Hill.  

Congratulations to the ABK Varsity and JV teams on their wins last night! The Varsity team defeated Overland 10-0 with goals scored by Kiah Benham, Haley Archuleta, Kathleen Fedorowicz, Ali Decolati, Alex Jackson, Dani Babb and Camryn MacMillan.  The JV team celebrated a 4-0 win over Cherry Creek with goals contributed by Georgia Russell, Summer Mock and Emma Purcell.  Both teams are scheduled to compete tomorrow at 11am against Pomona at the AHS Soccer fields.  Come out and cheer them on! Go Warriors!
