General Announcements

Attention Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: In your Advisement classes on Thursday, you will be creating a time capsule to be opened at the end of your high school career at AHS. To make this a valuable experience, bring in anything you might want to reflect on during the end of your Senior year. Examples might include: pictures, newspaper articles, small objects, poems, songs, or ticket stubs.

If you are interested in running for a class officer position in your Arapahoe Student Council, come to our Intent to Run meeting today at 2:30 in room C12. You don't have to be a current member of Student Council to run for office, so come to the meeting to find out about Student Leadership. See Mrs. Binney or Ms. Kershaw if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the Arapahoe High School Winter Guard who are the 2016 Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association Scholastic Open STATE CHAMPIONS!!! Arapahoe competed in the 2016 RMCGA State Championships this past Saturday at the University of Denver - Ritchie Center to earn their 7th state championship... Please congratulate the students when you see them today!

Ahoy Warriors! Get ready to set sail with this year’s musical, Anything Goes! Tickets for the musical will be sold at lunch starting on Wednesday. It’s $8.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. Can’t wait until Wednesday? Then go to Mr. Ahern’s teacher page and you can find the link to order them online. Anything Goes runs from Thursday, April 14th through Saturday, April 16th and all shows are at 7pm.

Ladies and gentleman, prom is right around the corner. You will have the opportunity to nominate your classmates for Prom royalty in the next advisement session this Thursday. So don't miss out and make your nomination count!

Attention Students - Just a reminder: It may cost you to print in the AHS Library. It is ten cents for each sheet of paper after the first two pages printed for each assignment. Color printouts are fifty cents per side of paper printed. Please plan ahead and bring money with you when you are printing in the library.

Seniors who would still like to apply to college, come to Application Day this Friday from 8:30-10:30 in the Forum.  College representatives will be on hand to provide information about their schools and to help students complete applications. In two hours time, students can apply to at least two colleges free of charge. RSVP to Mrs. Hall in the Post Grad Center.
