General Announcements
Attention all students interested in entering the
medical field. A guest speaker will be in the Forum 4th and 5th period TODAY to discuss the Health Science profession and the Health
Science class available to students who are interested in becoming a
nurse. Come by the forum or see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department for
more details.
Did the visit of the Arapaho people to our school last year provoke
curiosity of a lifestyle and culture that you’d like to learn more about?. Wind
River Reservation Trip applications are now being accepted, if you would like
to be part of the journey, you must apply. Applications can be found in the
Activities/Attendance office, application and essay and must be returned by
Friday, February 24th. There is limited space and applicants will be
notified of selection by March 24th.
Attention all Arapahoe artists! There
is only a little time left to submit your design for the prom logo contest.
Remember to use the colors purple and gold for the theme "Puttin' on the Ritz"!

class Tuesday February 7th at 2:30pm in room W1874. If you are
voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.
If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot
insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up
on-line. Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
Juniors,
sophomores, and freshmen students and parents...College Night is designed to
give you an overview of the college application process and the importance of
starting early and stressing less. RSVP today for this informative
event on Monday, February 6th from 6-8 pm.
Athletics
Boys Lacrosse Registration is now open.
If you plan to try out for the Spring Roster you must register by February 6th.
Go to the Lacrosse Club website to register at ahslax.org and come to the Pre-Tryout Meeting on February 7th at 6:30pm in the
Cafeteria.

weekend as they travel to Orlando for the National Dance Team Championship!

Varsity Cheer Team, Sunday, Feb. 5th at
Casa Caliente Restaurant located at 8800 S. Colorado Blvd, just south of C470
& Colorado Blvd. Come anytime between 11am-9pm and mention
that you're there to support Arapahoe Varsity Cheer and they'll give back 25%
of profits to go towards the Cheer Teams Nationals Competition. We would
love your support! Thank you!
Friday, February 3rd at 5:30 AHS
will be hosting the Centennial A League Swim Championship Prelims. Come
out and Cheer your Lady Water Warriors!
Saturday, February 4th at 9:30 AM,
the Centennial A League Diving Championship Prelim will also be held at
AHS. Saturday will conclude this 2 day meet with Finals
beginning at 3:00 PM for BOTH Swim and Dive.

Attention all girls interested in playing
lacrosse this spring: Please register on the Girls Lacrosse website,
which is found at ahswarriors.org no later than February 1st! Once you register, you will
receive all communication around tryout dates and times! Don’t delay,
register today!
