General Announcements

*Deliberate Acts of Love and Kindness Week is here! In the spirit of the holiday season and to honor the memory of Claire Davis, wear PURPLE on Thursday, December 13th for our annual Purple Out and an Ugly Holiday Sweater on Friday, December 14th for a little bit of Holiday fun. Also, be sure to stop by our amazing Take What you Need Wall in the South Hall sponsored by Sources of Strength to take what you need or what a friend needs.

*Please check your school email account for a survey for the yearbook, and another survey for The Herald newsmag. We appreciate your input.

*Winter break is right around the corner.  Have you lost a pair of keys, maybe a pair of glasses, your watch, water bottle, sweatshirt or even your shoes??? If so, please stop by the main office to claim your lost item.  Any remaining lost and found items will be donated prior to break

*PAY your Library fines IN THE LIBRARY & your money will go toward the Toy Drive.
DID you Know:
We have collected $210 so far!
At present 494 Students NOW have a total of $3,148 in Library fines!!!
That is on average, a fine of $6.35 per student.
It's a good cause, Pay UP!

*The Activities/Attendance office would like to thank everyone who contributed to this year’s Toy Drive and assisted with the sorting and wrapping of presents. Castro Elementary and the Denver Indian Center appreciate all the donations and hard work that went into this years event.
*Students wishing to help deliver toys to Castro Elementary on Tuesday, Dec. 18, after the last final of the day, should pick-up a permission slip in the Activities/Attendance Office.  Space is limited to a first-come basis.

*Yesterday our Dive & Varsity Swimmers brought home another win for the season.  We also add 3 more swimmers to our State Roster, Senior Captain Gabreece VanAnne in the 100 Fly, Junior Anna Wetzel in the 100 Free, and Sophomore Lyndsey Wehr in the 200 IM & 100 Back!  Congratulations Ladies! Go Warriors!

Friday & Saturday, our top Girls Swimmers and Divers participate in the Colorado Coaches Invitational at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton.
