In recognition of Veterans week, we are honored to have guest Veterans or current military members lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Today’s guests are Marines Staff Sergeant Heather Beavers and Sergeant Jared Lawson.

General Announcements

*Calling all Warriors! In honor of our Veterans please sign our Veteran’s board outside the security office in the corner of the cafeteria and include a note to a Veteran or a name of a Veteran.

*Juniors and Seniors: are you interested in competing in athletics at the college level? If so, there will be an NCAA/NAIA eligibility information meeting in the forum next week Tuesday, November 19th during both lunches.  Feel free to bring your lunch.

*Hey everyone! It's not too late to join The Technology Student Association or "TSA".  TSA is for students who want to take their interest in STEM, Technology, and Engineering one step further, have fun, meet new people, and perhaps get the chance to travel along the way. Students work individually or in teams in such areas as biotechnology, coding, dragster design, flight challenge, film technology, CAD, desktop publishing, extemporaneous speaking, structural engineering, and many more. Please come to the next TSA meeting this Wednesday, November 13th @ 3:35- 4:00 PM in Room E1287. See you there! 

*Have you ever wanted to participate in an activity that is extremely rewarding, artistic, and competes at a world class level? Do you enjoy performing for others, dancing, and showcasing your talent in front of thousands? If so, the Winter Guard may be the group for you!!! There is no experience required to be a part of this group and we will teach you everything you need to know. Please join us at the season kick-off info meeting TONIGHT at 7:00 PM in the band room (E1347).  We would love to see you there!!!

*Seniors! Do you have a December 1st college application deadline? If so, blue forms are due by the end of the day today. Blue Forms can be turned in during both lunches today. See the counselors at the transcript table outside the bookkeeping office. 

*Calling all Sources of Strength Peer Leaders...we will be having a meeting on Wednesday, Nov 13th in the forum starting at 8:50 AM. Please come and hear about our next campaign for Thankfulness and Trusted Adults. See you then!

*Congratulations to all our Academic Letter Award Scholars! If you were unable to attend the ceremony last night please see Mrs. Dunsmore in the front office to pick up your award packet. 

*Free Alive@25 class is today from 3:45 PM - 8:15 PM in room W1874. Any questions ask Deputy Englert.

*The Swim Waiver will be given for current AHS, HHS,LHS students at Arapahoe High School on Thursday, November 21st at 7:00 AM. The test/waiver will take approximately 1 hour. This is the only test for the 1st semester 2019 school year for current students. This is the ONLY Swim Waiver Seniors may take. If seniors do not take and pass this test, they will be enrolled in swimming 2nd semester. Students must email Mrs. Leyden to sign up for the waiver.  Space is limited. 

Athletics    

*The Varsity and JV Toms showed up strong this past weekend at the Mile High Regional Championships. Varsity placed 6th in Pom and 7th in Jazz in highly competitive categories. Our JV team placed 9th in Pom. Go Toms! 

*MANDATORY WINTER SEASON ATHLETIC NIGHT MEETING FOR PARENTS AND STUDENT-ATHLETES is Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 6:30 PM in the Theater.

*Hey Warriors, football playoffs are happening again this Friday! Our Warriors will be traveling to play Ralston Valley at the NAAC on Friday, November 15th for a 7:30 PM game. Let's pack a bus full of Warrior Spirit and head up to cheer our team on to another great win. If you'd like to ride this bus, please stop by the Athletic Office to sign up. The bus trip will cost you $5 and admissions will be just another $5. Where else can you spend $10 for a night packed with great friends and awesome school spirit? Let's help take our team on to another round of the state playoffs Friday night. Go Warriors!

*All hockey players who are interested in trying out for the LPS CHSAA Ice Hockey team, it is time to register! The LPS hockey program is a combined team with players from Arapahoe, Heritage, Littleton, and Options.  Please go to the heritageeagleshockey.com website for registration details. Tryouts will be held on Monday 11/18 and Tuesday 11/19 from 4:00-5:00 PM at South Suburban Ice Rink.

*If you are interested in participating in Unified Basketball this year, please join us for a student meeting right after school on Tuesday, November 19th in Room E1275. If you cannot make it but would like to be involved, please visit Mrs. Rooney or Ms. Sanders for more information.
