*Sophomores, juniors, and seniors! Are you considering Metro State University of Denver or Arapahoe Community College? Come talk to the college representatives from these schools next Tuesday. Be sure to register in Naviance, secure permission from your teacher, and bring the signed pass to your visit.
*Attention Warriors! Sources of Strength needs your help spreading positivity at our school! All you have to do is design a poster spreading a message about hope, help, and strength. Send in a picture of your poster to AHSSourcesofStrength@gmail.com. The winner will receive a $10 gift card of their choice and the Tribe with the most submissions will get a donut party! The deadline is February 26th!
*The Spring Swim Waiver test registration is now open for current students who are interested in testing out of the required Swim course. Current students can find the registration link on the AHS website. The test will take place on Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 AM and the registration link will be open from now until March 3rd or when all spots are filled. Sign up today to take the swim waiver test.
*Free Alive @ 25 class Wednesday, February 26th, 3:45 PM-8:15 PM in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get your driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.
Athletics
*Your LPS hockey team will play their last regular season game this Saturday night against Mountain Vista at home at South Suburban at 6:30 PM. This will be a big game as they play for the “Eagle Cup” and will celebrate Senior night. Come out and cheer on the team!!
