General Announcements
*Seniors - a Herff Jones representative will be in the bubble entrance on Friday, September 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm to provide information on graduation announcements, class rings, etc. This is the only day the reps will be at AHS. If you are unable to attend on this date, questions may be directed to Mrs. Sorensen in the Student Services office.
*Warriors - get ready to kick off your 2023 Hollywood Homecoming Week!
Start the week off with Warrior spirit and dress up in your concert t-shirts and sweatshirts on Tuesday, September 5th.
Get excited for the 2023 Arapahoe Talent Show, on Tuesday night at 7pm in the theater, tickets are $5.
The Hollywood Homecoming dance is next Saturday night from 8:00pm-10:00pm. Get your dance tickets and Homecoming T-Shirts starting on Tuesday during both lunches. Dance Tickets are $15 in advance/$20 at the door, cash or check only. T-shirts are $10, cash or check only
*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 9th, please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Thursday, September 7th at 3:00pm.
*Hey Freshman Warriors - on Thursday, September 7th, Link Crew is hosting a Homecoming T-shirt decorating party in the cafeteria after school! Bring your homecoming shirts and some friends to participate in a time-honored Arapahoe tradition. See you there!
*Seniors who are applying to college: Application Boot Camp starts next Wednesday, September 6th at 8:30am in the Forum! Complete your applications with help from Arapahoe's counselors and be ready to submit in time for Colorado's Free Application Days October 17th-19th!
*SUPPORT Arapahoe Theatre and get something great to eat at the same time. Stop by Zell’s Creperie on Friday, September 8th between 7:00am and 7:00pm and grab a panini or crepe. Mention Arapahoe Theatre and some of the proceeds will go to the program.
Athletics
*Varsity Field Hockey was victorious over Palmer Ridge last night with a score of 2-0. C-Team fought hard but lost 0-1 to Regis.
*Come out and support our Arapahoe gymnasts on the Heritage/LPS Gymnastics team as they compete this Saturday at the Cherry Creek Invitational at Cherry Creek High School. The competition begins at 9:00am. Both Varsity and JV will compete against 11 other area high schools.
*Hey Warriors - boys lacrosse players interested in playing in the fall lacrosse league need to register by Labor Day, Monday, September 4th. Registration and details are in the Team App. If you do not have access, please email Coach Logan Bobzien directly at lbobzien@lps.k12.co.us
*WARRIORS - Tickets are on sale during lunches for the Arapahoe/Heritage football game this Friday night at LPS Stadium at 7:00pm. There is a limited number of tickets available and this game will sell out so buy your tickets today. Cash or check will be the method of payment.
Please note: Arapahoe students with an athletic pass will need to bring their student ID or a photo of their ID on their phone to present at the admissions gate. No Infinite Campus search will be accepted for free admission. If you need to get a new ID to show you have an athletic pass, please visit the bookkeeper’s office before Thursday to have a new ID printed.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults (18-65), $5 for students (K-12) and $5 for Senior Citizens (over 65). Go Warriors!
