*What an amazing Talent Show last night! Great job to all of our acts! Congratulations to our best vocal or dance act: Abigail Hauser, our best instrumental performance: Parker Lollini, and our best in show: Amelia Rysavy and Ben Levine! We are so proud of you!
*Warriors - you look great in your wacky-Adam Sandler outfits today! Tonight on the AHS Turf at 6:30pm come out to see our Warrior girls battle it out at the PowderPuff Semi-Final and Championship games. Entry is free!
Come early at 6:00pm to support Arapahoe DECA’s snack shack.
Stay after the game to see a spectacular fireworks show starting around 8:30pm. Bring blankets to sit on to enjoy the show!
You can also get your homecoming dance tickets today and the rest of the week during both lunches. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, cash or check only.
Dress up in your best beach and tourist outfits tomorrow(NO swimsuits)!

*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 9th, Guest Pass Approval Forms are due TOMORROW by 3:00pm! Stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a form.
*Hey Freshman Warriors - TOMORROW, Link Crew is hosting a Homecoming T-shirt decorating party in the cafeteria after school! Bring your homecoming shirts and some friends to participate in a time-honored Arapahoe tradition. See you there!
*Seniors - a Herff Jones representative will be in the bubble entrance on Friday, September 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm to provide information on graduation announcements, class rings, etc. This is the only day the reps will be at AHS. If you are unable to attend on this date, questions may be directed to Mrs. Sorensen in the Student Services office.
*SUPPORT Arapahoe Theatre and get something great to eat at the same time. Stop by Zell’s Creperie on Friday, September 8th between 7:00am and 7:00pm and grab a panini or crepe. Mention Arapahoe Theatre and some of the proceeds will go to the program.
Athletics
*The Varsity Boys Tennis Warriors were VICTORIOUS against Grandview last night with a 6-1 win! The boys will be in action on Thursday at home against Smokey with a 3:45 start time. Good Luck Warriors!
*Congrats to the Varsity and Freshman Volleyball teams for their wins over Thunder Ridge last night! Thanks to the lower level players for staying to cheer on Varsity!
*Congratulations to both Varsity and JV softball teams for how they played last night against Eaglecrest. Varsity won 7-4 in their Centennial League opener. JV played well, but lost a hard fought game. Both teams are back in action tomorrow at Cherokee Trail.
