General Announcements
*Hey Warriors! If you’re thinking about what comes after the school year—or just curious about travel, global programs, or learning beyond the classroom—this event is for you. On Tuesday, January 20th AHS is hosting a FREE Gap Year Fair from 6:00pm-8:30pm, open to all students & families. You’ll see programs offering gap years, summer programs, internships, travel, and global learning opportunities—both in the U.S. and abroad. When you attend, you can enter into two raffles: one to win a $500 flight to anywhere in the world! Bring your friends and earn more chances to win. Also, eligible students can apply to win a $5,000 scholarship toward their dream program. You don’t want to miss it!
*Attention FBLA Members, the district testing window is OPEN and all students signed up for testing events must complete your tests no later than TODAY. If you are signed up for an event with a partner you must test with that partner at the same time. Please check Google Classroom for a full listing of testing times and locations. There is no extension on this deadline.
*Warriors - grab your Baguettes and Berets, we are headed to France! On this trip you’ll cruise the river Seine, take in views of the Eiffel tower, walk the charming streets of Bordeaux during a dessert themed tour and learn to make delicious sweets from a French pastry chef. All Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors interested in exploring the culture and cuisine of France are invited to learn more about the trip at our family info meeting on January 20th @ 6:00pm. Please RSVP to the QR code on the posters around school and in any Science room. Ask Ms. Wood in Science if you have any questions.

Athletics
*Come out and cheer on your Warrior Wrestlers TONIGHT @ HOME as they take on Eaglecrest . Varsity will start at 6:57pm after JV is at 5:57pm. Go Warriors!
*Attention ALL boys interested in the Swimming and Diving team at AHS this spring! We will have an organizational meeting TODAY in the Forum at 6:30pm. Please make all attempts to be at the meeting if you are interested in being on the team. Swimming and diving is a no cut sport!
*Don't forget to attend the Toms Nationals Sendoff in the gym this Saturday night, January 17th at 6:30pm. The JV and Varsity Toms will be performing their competition routines from this season and they will be recognizing all Toms Alumni in attendance, see you there!"
