General Announcements

It is November 29th and the toy drive has started.  We have 50 toys in the attendance office. We need 950 more toys!  We want to bring lots of smiles to the boys and girls of Fletcher Elementary.  If you want to help, please bring a new toy to the Attendance Office by December 9th.  With your help we can make this happen!!

Tickets are now on sale for Jazz I and The Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs’ performance at Dazzle’s Jazz Club in Downtown Denver, on Monday, December 5th.  Professional Jazz Vocalist, Barbara Paris will be singing with Jazz I, and the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra will perform following Arapahoe’s set.  Performances start at 7pm, and the cost is just $10, which will get you into the Dec. 5th event, as well as a future Dazzle’s jazz concert.  Tickets are now available from any Jazz I student, or they can also be purchased in the Band Office.

Attention mathematicians!! The next Colorado Math League competition is scheduled for today, November 29th. We had record high scores last month! Thanks for your efforts in keeping Arapahoe one of the top schools in this competition! Go Arapahoe!!

Attention new NHS members. Remember to attend the mandatory rehearsal today, after school at 2:15 p.m. in the theater. See you then!

Club yearbook pictures will be taken on Monday, Dec. 5. Check the posters in the halls for the time assigned to your club and then meet in the art hall 15 minutes before you are scheduled.

Attention FBLA members.  District information is due by the end of the day TODAY!  Turn in paperwork and money to the business office.

Hey guys!  It’s time for another community service just ‘cause meeting, this Thursday in room C-19.  We’re adopting a family for the holidays and we’re going to be serving dinner to homeless people, so we need you there!  It’s not to late to join!  Hope to see you there!

Attention all Amnesty members:  There will be a very important meeting today regarding our spring gala event in room C-8 at 2:30.  Be there to hear an exciting announcement!

Athletics

Cross Country Runners who have not picked up their Arrowheads, and Statistic & Record Book, can pick them up in the attendance office.

Attention all girls interested in playing tennis in the spring:  there will be a mandatory meeting in room W103 on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 2:30 pm.  This meeting is for all girls who are not currently involved in a winter sport.  Please see Coach Brayton if you can't attend.

Attention Young Democrats, there is a meeting today in room C6 after school to make final plans for the debate Wednesday.  Everybody show up. 

Attention Bowling Club Members: Due to a schedule conflict, there will NOT be a meeting this Wednesday. BUT, please mark on your calendar that we will be meeting for the Yearbook Club Photo in Room E-8 at 3:30 pm on December 5. See you there.

Attention Knowledge Trivia Experts! We need your help! The Fall Knowledge Master Open is scheduled for Tuesday, December 6 after school in room N-3. Please see Mrs. Lobser in the Enrichment Room to sign up.

Hey Habitat for Humanity members--there will be a brief meeting after school on Thursday, December 1 in room C-13.

Attention Republican Warriors, there will be a meeting today after school in room C-26; you must come if you want to participate in the debate.

Attention World Affairs Challenge Members, we will meet in C-6 right after school on Thursday.  Bring your ideas regarding conflict in the world.
